A tourist was getting something written for himself on a wooden egg key chain. He didn’t like it, argued very rudely with baba and left, muttering insults. Made me think of the many snobby, entitled tourists who fail to give due respect to the people whose land they throw chips’ packets on.

Sometimes it's hard to watch someone suffer; imagining their pain, being unable to shoo it away. Today someone I care about made a very important discovery about their life. Both of us felt a lightness, a subtle joy throughout the day. We know it's not the final answer but it's definitely the start of better answers.
