By the Bridge

Taking pictures has always been in the family. With a snap-happy trigger finger I keep my camera around no matter when or where. So a camera hanging from my neck finds some interesting things whenever I manage to get out and about in the world. These are my photos and my own little way of seeing what is out there.

Today Cam and I took a quick nip outside after a short rain shower. I needed to get this shot so bad.

Its summer again. Yet here I find myself indoors, doing a little looking up for my upcoming writing project. I cant wait to see where this project takes me! It’s gong to be so great, I just cant wait to get started. It is almost worth not taking Cam outside to enjoy all the fresh greenery.

I just don’t know what it is about old houses that I love but MAN are they not just lovely in their own way. Had some down time today while waiting for a friend to get done with work. Camera and I explored the back streets of town and we were not disapointed.

Last night a visit to my local library ended with an amazing sight. A spider, fixing the day’s damages to his web. It was mesmerizing to watch, Camera and I enjoyed gettting to witness this little treat.

Lines are all around today as I visit a cousin in Milwakee. She showed me the cutest little park right on the lake.

Camera had a chance to take a look at a big city today. I thought it was going to be all urban skyline and fun grunge photos from this trip but we ended up at a park, a small one, right in the heart of the downtown of Minneapolis. I think we might be able to fall in love with this city after all.

I know these shots are over done and everybody and their sister has taken one or a dozen. But truely this is my favorite veiw in the whole world. The emerald green light filtering down to those who trod benith the tree’s majestic branches.

My Wildcat of a best friend, in her element. We have been coming to this trail so much this summer. Gosh it’s just so peaceful and wonderful and the tranquility gets heavier the farther on you go down the path.

More from Parphery’s Glen. It was such a magical place, I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. I would give almost anything to find a way to live out here and I wouldnt think twice about it. And I got so many favorite shots, I just am having a hard time picking.

Traveling and hikeing with friends. Camera and I visited Parfery’s Glen and enjoyed all of the scenery.

These lines are just wonderful! Winding and calling to those who pass by, calling them to roundness as well as sharpness. The hotel I am visting today is full of lines that talk and invite the guests in.

Camera found her way into the art room with me today. Ceramic paints! Looks like our pots have been kilned and are ready for some paint and glaze. I got into an artistic mood before we even started painting.

“Bring your cat over for a play date” she says. “It will be fun” she says. Well my cat had a good time, but looks like yours is all tuckered out. Little Smokey here played hard and slept hard, and was the cutest sleepy kitty. Camera couldn’t resist a snap.

Camera and some frineds and I visited an Expo today. Vendor upon vendor had eye catching products, but this partcular table caught my eye and would not let go. It was a table for a jewlery cleaning solution. I think I passed by about 4 times, seeing as how I got all 4 of my rings shined to pristine quality.

Visited Gram today and of couse she has a new project in the works. Got my hands in on it for a little while. She is quite the amazing lady, the ideas that come out of her head are simply wonderful. The lines on the table and the lines of the yarn wouldn’t let me and Camera get away without a photograph.

Having some fun with some magnetic poetry, and Camera kept nudgeing me to make something special out of the moment. How my friends ever put up me with me and all my snap happy moments I’ll never know. But I am sure glad they do.
