Only know you love her when you let her go, And you let her go.
We had 15 years and 29 days together.
There is this tale in Finnish mythology about the origin of the northern lights. The Finnish word for the northern lights translates to “fox fires”. The firefox is a mythical and elusive creature of the North coveted by hunters. As it runs along the fells, the fox’s flaming tail whips crystals of snow into the sky, setting the skies on fire.
I always thought of her as a firefox, so I find this photo of her last sunset on this earth quite fitting. Rest in peace my girl.
