Lençóis Maranhenses - Maranhão (by Valéria Moraes)
13 years ago, Pain of Salvation was releasing The Perfect Element I! It featured Daniel Gildenlöw, Johan Hallgren, Fredrik Hermansson, Kristoffer Gildenlöw and Johan Langell (considered by many to be the best line up…) "The story explores the lives of two characters, one male and one female (known commonly as "He" and "She") who are broken, dysfunctional people. They meet in the events of the song "Ashes" after the first two songs of the album present us with a depiction of their troubled pasts ("Used" for "He" and "In the Flesh" for "She"). After that introduction, the concept focuses on the inner struggles and feelings of the characters after the events on "Ashes", and we also have some memory flashes, telling us more about their pasts and revealing what events in their lives caused them to become what they are, finally ending with the "falling" of He on the last song, "The Perfect Element". Breaking Bad / 1x03: …And the Bag’s in the River
For a second I think I get a glimpse Of the real her, behind She’s warm and fragile With smiles that reach to her eyes But just this moment, A change so sublime If she looked me deep into my eyes And softly asked me too I’d be in her bed and in her flesh And waste a life I knew So I hold my breath and close my eyes And focus on the wine Let this trembling moment pass us by So I could say goodnight But then, an impulse I almost touched her face Before I pulled back my hand And we get nervous We laugh and she spills her wine Both so awkward, for what’s on our mind And she talks like you And she smells almost like you A child of the wild just like you But she’s not all you Even strives not to be you Just like every sister would do
I miss some songs whispered in my ears.
