Well that didn’t work

I thought my goals were simple.

I had already downloaded the app last month in preparation for this day. The steps seem easy enough. All you have to do is fill in some basic info and it should work…

Once I added in my Verizon account number I kept getting an error message. Restarting the app didn’t help so I went to the chat room and spoke to (mike). He tried a few things that didn’t work but said I should try it from a web page.

Onto safari I go and bam, as soon as I start the sign up from the web page I get an error message about my address 😡. Back to the chat and a few minutes later everything is finally order and on its way.

Upon further inspection on the app I see this:

It appears I’ve been charged double!🤬🤬🤬

The service is only $40.00 a month!

Now when I go back to the chat room to ask what’s going on nobody is there. I headed to twitter to send a dm and got no response. Once I uploaded a screenshot of that extra charge and posted it to the main page for them I got a swift dm!

I haven’t been with the company 1 hour and already I have a service ticket 🎫.

Major failure after going through text support on twitter over and over again I’ve decided to just stop trying to activate the card. Clearly it’s not meant for me to have this service.

The last thing they wanted me to do was factory restore my phone 📱. I’m not doing all that the phone isn’t the problem!

It’s official! I now own my phone 📱

I’m planning on signing up with Verizon. The unlimited $40 is a good deal so far.

I want to be able to use the hotspot instead of my home WiFi and cut the bill!
