Hello everyone! I'm Physi (fizz-ee), and welcome to my humble home! You're stuck here now, so enjoy my manic scratching at the walls of my enclosureâ it's bound to be a lotta fun! đâš
I'll mostly be posting my various thoughts or works regarding my many varied interests, from RPGs like Enderal or Bioware titles to VNs/Otome games, rofan novels or smutty monster romance, and some personal projects as well! I needed a space that wasn't twitter to share my artwork or make announcements on current and future projects, so I figured it was well past time to break and make a tumblr blog lol!
Let's be mutuals! I'm always looking for more friends to rant and rave about our respective interests with :)

A small wip, Io dancing with her bro Jespar đâš working on a series of drawings of Io enjoying an Enderalean festival with her friends n family, I have two out of four started! Debating whether I want to suffer the hell that is doing backgrounds,,
actually kinda funny to me that fanfiction is known as a hobby for cringe 13 year olds because personally over half of the fanfic authors i know are married 30 year olds with mediocre admin jobs they attend to inbetween posting chapters of their latest gay sex epic adventure
if you're a trans woman it is very important that you're friends with people who are interested in living and living well. Find gym rats, painters, academics, devoted gardeners, gourmands, cinephiles, audiophiles, wine snobs, fashionistas... anyone who is deeply devoted to something in life, that fascinates them, brings them peace, and compels them to live. Learn from them, ask them to show you what's so good about ____. Imagine yourself as one of those anime slice of life characters who've learned that they can be satisfied (fulfilled even) with life as long as they pursue their love of __. The world is full of so much misery for us, and so many of us let that misery and hatred eat away at us until we're depressed, angry shells of people. Refuse that, choose life, choose learning how to live well. Choose enriching your senses by training them.
I'll never stop hyping up other people OC's because what do you mean you created this thing out of the love of the game and gave life not just to them, but the other characters around them
Please keep bringing up the whimsy in my timeline I will literally snort it like a line of coke

wish for the rain | (An Enderal/IaB fluff drabble)
Hello friends đâš It stormed here recently, and I got the sudden and inescapable urge to write a short little fluff fic for my Prophetess Io and TharaĂȘl based on their shared love of rainy weather! Currently non IaB canon, as it is set in a canonically unlikely future where either the Cleansing never comes, or they're able to completely subvert it. And y'know-- get married lol

Thunder rumbled low and long outside the walls of their home, and Io couldn't suppress the pleased smile that immediately stretched across her features. She paused in her work, dropping the pestle she'd held into its mortar twin as she twisted, her eyes searching out the window in the kitchen. It wasn't quite dark out yet- rather, the dim light of dusk- which meant she could just barely make out the first few rain drops that splattered against the windowpane.
"⊠What is it?" The man across from her asked, startling Io out of the bubble of silence the pair had spent the last hour and a half in. She turned back to find TharaĂȘl watching her with a cocked brow, having finally pulled his nose from the book he'd been buried in.
"It is going to storm," She answered simply, and TharaĂȘl's gaze slipped over to the kitchen window as well.
"Is it? How can you-" He began, before mother nature herself cut him off with another muted bellow of thunder. "Ah. So it is."
"You really do tune out everything out when you read," Io teased, the corners of her eyes crinkling as she dusted powdered flowers off her hands and moved her half-prepared alchemical supplies to the side.
"Not everything," TharaĂȘl muttered impetuously, his lips twisting and brows bunching. TharaĂȘl pointedly hefted his book up to block her stare, gaze roaming over words she couldn't see just to break eye contact.
"Pfft!" Io sputtered, just barely holding in a bark of laughter. TharaĂȘl's frown deepened into a pout at that, and Io couldn't help but stand, reaching her least stained hand out to fondly cup her Companion's cheek. His eyes darted up to meet hers at the sweet touch, her amusement softening into a smile of affection. "You are so darling, TharaĂȘl. I am going to make a cup of teaâ would you like some?" She asked, brushing her thumb over his cheekbone before withdrawing and stepping out from between the long bench and the kitchen table.
Her partner's cheeks flushed, his ear tips shifting and eyes going glossy in that adorable look of bashfulness Io so adored. "Mm," TharaĂȘl eventually grunted, returning to his reading material once more.
Io busied herself with gathering everything she neededâ the kettle was filled and placed on the hook above the fireplace, her tea caddy moved down onto the counter, and their usual cups were pulled from the upper cabinet. She retrieve the pitcher of cream from the cold storage box, and soon after, the jar of honey she kept hidden away from wandering sweet-toothed fingers. She moved to the sink, turning the handle and dunking her stained hands in the cold stream of water as the irregular splatter of rain drops against the window slowly rose to a steady rhythm.
Scrubbing her hands absentmindedly, she peered out the window just in time to catch a bright flash of white spearing between the rolling, dark grey clouds. She waited, counting the seconds that ticked by until⊠Thunder crashed a few moments later, slightly louder than the last. She turned off the faucet, pawed for the drying towel on the counter, and counted the moments between the next two flashes of lightning and their accompanying rumbles as she dried her hands. Io was pleased to find that the time between was quickly shortening, which meant the full weight of the storm would be on them soon. She tossed the damp towel aside and hurriedly opened the tea caddyâ she didn't want to miss a moment of it! The mage hummed for a moment, assessing her options, before settling on the chamomile sachets she'd yet to use up.
Io placed one each in she and TharaĂȘl's waiting mugs, jumping slightly as the high-pitched whistle of steam shot from the spout of the kettle. She snatched the padded pot mitt she kept by the stove and dove for the kettle, before gingerly carting it over to their cups and pouring the scalding liquid. Once she'd moved the pot over to a safe spot where no-one might accidentally burn themselves, she returned to the task at hand. As the slow and steady trickle of rain drops slowly morphed into a noticeable downpour that pattered across the roof, Io poured honey and cream into both their teasâ a little more cream for her and a little more honey for TharaĂȘl, just as they liked. She plunked a spoon down in TharaĂȘl's cup first, swirling the mixture until she was satisfied. Io tapped the spoon on the rim of his cup, then popped it in her mouth, making a pleased noise at the burst of honey on her tongue. She held the spoon between her lips as she deftly turned and placed her Companion's cup across from him before grabbing her own. Io then relinquished the spoon to stir her tea and slinked over to the front door. She swung it open wide, sending a gush of humid air billowing around her face as she slipped through and propped her hip up on the doorframe.
"You're going to get wet," TharaĂȘl called from the kitchen, his voice flat.
"So be it!" She shot back over her shoulder with a grin, her eyes pinching shut in childish delight.
Rain was already beginning to buffet her legs, a few rogue drops hitting her bare arms or cheek from its diagonal downfall. It was the warm rain of summer, soothing against her skin, and Io loved nothing more. She was of half a mind to run out searching for puddles, if she wasn't worried about losing her tea. A roaring 'BOOM!' vibrated in her chest, the thunder so much louder now that she wasn't confined indoors. Lightning streaked across the sky, branching and spiralling in wondrous patterns as another rumble immediately answered. The thunderstorm was directly overhead now.
Feeling the comforting weight of his presence approach, Io leaned back to rest against TharaĂȘl even before she felt one of his arms slip between the crook of her own. His arm wrapped around the front of her waist as he tucked her flush to his torso. TharaĂȘl bent his neck to rest his chin on the top of her head, letting out an exasperated huff that ruffled her strawberry-blonde curls. Io blew a cooling breath over her tea before taking a tiny test sip, careful not to disturb her partner.
"What happened to your book?" She asked, smacking her lips in satisfaction at the perfect taste. TharaĂȘl didn't respond at first, until she felt him shift above her as he mumbled something into her hair. "Sorry, what?" She repeated, tilting her neck back to peek up at him. "I missed that."
"You⊠distracted me. I kept reading the same paragraph over again." He admitted in a hushed breath, speaking so softly she guessed he was hoping she wouldn't hear him.
Io blinked as his words processed, before a giggle slipped from her and quickly devolved into full-blown laughter that made her tremble in his arms. TharaĂȘl let out a dramatic, drawn-out groan as his chin lifted off her, which was more than likely paired with him rolling his eyes at her.
"Ho- How do you always manage to say the sweetest things, even when you claim to hate them?" Io chortled, her cheeks aching from how wide her grin was.
"How do you manage to be so insufferable about it when they're your fault?" He retorted, narrowing his eyes at her in a mock glare when she rested her head on his shoulder to look up at him fully. Flashes of light danced across his features from the lightning, reflected in his gaze rather attractively.
"Oh, it is my fault now that you are sweet on me?" Io's grin widened further at his retort, and she reached up to cup the side of his face.
"Yes!" He exclaimed, his pitch rising. She felt something warmer than the sprinkle of raindrops touch her belly, and Io glanced down to see him switching his tea cup to the hand that had cradled her waist instead. TharaĂȘl's newly free hand pinched her chin between his thumb and forefinger, tilting her head back to rest on his shoulder again. His own head dipped, chin brushing against her nose as he pressed a chaste, too fleeting kiss to her lips. When he drew away Io rose onto her tip toes to chase his mouth, slipping a hand behind his neck to pull him closer, and stole a slower second kiss that made heat curl low in her belly. When she finally released him, TharaĂȘl cleared his throat before continuing hoarsely: "That. You do things like that and make me all⊠sweet," He hissed, the last word whispered as if he spoke of something evil.
Io found that incredibly amusing. She squished his cheeks, admiring the heavy-lidded look of fond annoyance he gave her. "You love it, though. Despite all your grumbling, you always enjoy it when we are tooth-rottingly sweet."
"Iâ do," He bit out the admittance, "so you can wipe that grin off your face now. No, don't give me that look." He chided, his nose scrunching up when she batted her lashes at him innocently. "Go back to watching the storm, you menace."
Io's fluttering laugh wrapped them up in a warm blanket of soft as he tugged her chin down so she could stare out at the scenery. TharaĂȘl held her a little tighter as he rested his chin on the top of her head again, and Io all but melted into his touch, muscles going lax as she rested her full weight against her Companion. They settled into a light, cosy silence that was broken only by the steady rush of heavy rain. Thunder rumbled hear and there, joined by their familiar flashes of lightning- and they simply stood there, drinking in the sights.
It was a few moments later, when Io had downed half her tea and the roar of thunder had softened into a lingering whisper, that TharaĂȘl shifted.
"What is it about storms that you're so obsessed with anyways?" He asked softly, as if trying not to break their comfortable bubble of peace with the question.
Io's tilted her head curiously as she pondered the question, letting out a low hum.
"They are⊠nostalgic, maybe? Comforting," She tried, leaning back to look up at him again. "I suppose it started when I was little⊠when my sister was a babe, she would always cry and hide whenever it thundered. So, to show her it was not so scary, Mother would have she and I sit with her on the porch as she told us stories or cuddled us. It became a fun ritualâ the moment clouds gathered and darkened, Niah and I would pull at her apron and beg for her to heat us warm tea or milk and tell us stories while we watched the rain."
TharaĂȘl's eyes softened as he listened, a small smile lighting up his features as he watched the rain. "That sounds like a nice memory. We always dreaded when it rained like this, down in the Undercity."
"What? How come?" Io bit out in genuine surprise. With the Undercity being subterranean, she couldn't imagine that they wouldn't even see or hear much of any storm.
"Flooding," He explained quietly, and Io made a noise of distress. Lightborn, that hadn't even occurred to her⊠"The canals down there would sometimes overflow after heavy storms, and during the rainy season water often seeps through the rock from the surface. It wasn't an issue when Letho and I were in the Refuge since it was built on a raised foundation, but when we were living in the tunnels⊠it could get dangerous if we weren't careful. I was almost swept away, once."
"Oh TharaĂȘl, I am so sorryâ Iâ That had to be terrifying," She whispered, shifting in his hold so she could turn and face him. Her sorrow for him made her heart bleed, especially since she understoodâ she still hated being in water higher than her waist after she'd almost drowned escaping Nehrim. Io rested her hands on his chest in what she hoped would be a soothing gesture that conveyed her sincerity.
"It happened," TharaĂȘl dismissed it with a shrug as he wrapped his arms snugly around her, "and I survived it regardless. Nowadays though, IâŠ" He trailed off, his gaze stuck on something in the rain-obscured horizon she couldn't see.
Recognising that her partner was gathering his thoughts, Io rested her head on his chest, letting her eyelids fall shut as she felt listened to the steady sound of his breathing. Eventually he inhaled, his chin dropping so he could look at her, and Io looked back . His expression softened again, that hint of a sweet smile breaking out and lighting up her world.
"I enjoy storms now. The rain is⊠pretty, and I want nothing more than to watch it all day. I could look forever, and never get my fill. Thunder is powerful, the kind that I can feel all the way to my heart. It makes me want to stop and listen," TharaĂȘl said, his lashes drooping as his eyes lingered on Io's lips.
"⊠Why do I get the feeling that you are not talking about the weather anymore?" Io murmured back, spreading her fingers out and drifting her hands up his chest. The air between them was heating, a familiar tug drawing the two closer and closer.
"And lightning," TharaĂȘl added, whispering the words against her lips, "White-hot and electric. The way it feels when you touch me."
"TharaĂȘlâŠ" Io's breath hitched as his hands skated up and down her spine, fleeting touches that made her arch her back for more.
"I've come to love storms. Because they remind me of you."
Io's heart soared, filling with such a euphoric happiness that she felt like she was floating. 'Such sweet words, from such a sweet man,' she couldn't help but think as she sprang up, wrapping her arms around his neck and interrupting his surprised noise with a kiss. 'Lightborn, whatever did I do to deserve him?'
"If there was ever to be a person I could say I loved, it is undoubtedly you." Io whispered between kisses, trailing them across his cheek, on his temple, his jaw. She nuzzled her nose against his, sighing in delight as he bent over her and claimed her lips with a groan. Io knew she didn't feel romantic love like normal people did- she likely never would- but she also knew that the care, reverence, and both emotional and physical intimacy this man gave her without expecting anything in return meant everything to her. There would never be anyone but TharaĂȘl for her, and Io couldn't be happier.
"I love you too," He breathed, panting as they pulled apart. Io herself felt rather breathless, but she couldn't care less when her partner and Companion looked at her like she hung the moon. Or, like he was about to devour her. That sweet look in his eyes had turned into a familiar devious glint, and Io grinned in fond amusement. Whatever was she going to do with this silly man?
Then TharaĂȘl suddenly flinched, one eye screwing shut in annoyance as he glared up at the sky. Confused, Io joined himâ only to find that at some point in their mashing-of-faces, the two had accidentally stumbled into the street. Io glanced around to make sure they didn't have an unwitting audience, and had to bite her lip to keep from bursting with laughter. Io's hair was damp now; her curls stuck to her forehead, and her shirt clung to her skin. Her partner fared no better, his short hairs a full shade darker and plastered to his temples. While the rain may have lessened to a light drizzle, it seems they had unfortunately still ended up rather soaked. TharaĂȘl rubbed at his eye with a particularly vexed sneer, and she gave him a sympathetic smile when she realised her poor partner must have suffered a direct hit.
"It seems we may have gotten a little carried away," She chuckled, tugging at his wrist to pull his hand away from his face. "I think a warm bath is in order- the rain is decidedly less nice when we are covered in it, and it will be even less so when it cools. Let me go inside and draw one for you."
"Or⊠we could share. The tub is big enough for both of us, after all. We could continue where we left off?" He hesitantly offered as he curved his arm around her back again and pulled her flush against him. His voice was rough, and his gaze kept jumping down to admire her bodyâ TharaĂȘl's cheeks darkened several shades when he eventually noticed the wicked grin on Io's face as she watched him. Her Companion was still shy about asking for skinship despite Io's encouragement, so she was always excited for the moments where he would find his courage- or simply lost patience.
"Oh, how I wish you would have suggested this much earlier!" She lamented with a giggle, stretching up and pecking his cheek with unashamed fondness before she pulled away.
"Why?" TharaĂȘl nearly whined, his ears drooping as his body gravitated towards hers subconsciously. "We were busy watching the rain. Nothing's stopping us from spending a little more time together..."
She didn't respond, and instead smiled into the kiss he greedily stole from her. Unfortunately for them both, his answer came not a moment later in the form of a loud and overly-preformative gagging noise from behind them.
"Fucking gross! Stop snogging our mum, you arsehole!" An all too familiar voice shouted, and TharaĂȘl pulled away from Io with a murderous look. The half-Aeterna groaned quietly, tipping forward to rest his forehead on Io's shoulder.
"Hi, TharaĂȘl. Sorry Mum. I tried to give you guys some privacy, but Logen saw you two from the window and bolted before I could stop him." Aerev's soft voice piped up.
"That would be why." Io snickered to TharaĂȘl privately, patting his back in commiseration when he heaved a great sigh.
"Malphas grant me patience." TharaĂȘl growled, before he took a steadying inhale and stepped away. "Hello to you too, you irritating bratâ and you, Aerev."
Io turned with a glowing smile to greet her boys, only to find Aerev holding Logen up by the collar of his shirt while the lanky boy tried to wriggle out of his brother's grip. Logen was glaring daggers at TharaĂȘl over her shoulder, and she could practically hear the 'Let me at him!' the boy would be shouting if Aerev wasn't within choke-hold distance.
"I appreciate the attempt, sweetheart." Io thanked Aerev with a laugh, shaking her head and propping her hands up on her hips.
"What were you two doing out here?" Aerev asked, tilting his head in curiosity. Logen seemed to surrender, crossing his arms with a huff and mumbling out a sullen 'Other than being disgusting?' as Aerev finally lowered him back down.
Io turned to glance up at TharaĂȘl, who's gaze met hers at the same time. An adoring smile stretched across the woman's face, which was matched by TharaĂȘl's own as he pulled her close by her hip and tucked her into his side.
"We were watching the storm," He answered for her, "like Io says she used to as a child. Why don't we watch the last of it together?"
"As a family?" Logen chimed in, his face lighting up at the suggestion.
"As a family." Io confirmed with a nod, spreading her arms open wide. Her laughter was bright as her boys dove for her, and TharaĂȘl's small smile deepened into an expression so filled with love that Io knew that this moment right here and nowâ this would become one of her most precious memories.
