IDEA!!!!!!!!!! elita, chromia, firestar, and moonracer in the manual class (heavy labour), lancer and green light were also previously in the manual class but have been allowed into intellectual class with both aiming to be scientists. arcee is out there doing who knows what, seperate from the functionist system.
from oldest to youngest there is elita, chromia, firestar, arcee (who is tied with lancer, and green light), then finally moonracer.
so -> there is elita, chromia, and firestar as the roughened miners, whilst moonracer aspires to be a scientist (similarly to how megatron wanted to be a writer). elita is present as the captain of her small crew of fellow miners, ranking highest out of the four. following elita, there is then chromia (co-captain), firestar (a begrudgingly appointed superior to moonracer) and finally the fated girl herself (the rookie/youngest out of the four)
meanwhile, lancer and green light are alt-mode exempt allowing them to (somewhat) do their own thing after discovering possibly beneficial element whilst mining (something random idk), though they are still particially mistreated due to their origins down below especially since they are mostly unfamilar to the cultures of the outside world. as they come from strenuous backgrounds, most bots they are surrounded by in their new environment see them as 'inferior', leading them to sticking together and growing closer in turn. they lose contact with elita and her crew after they are brought to the surface as given equipment is not good enough to reach the outer world.
as mentioned before, arcee is out in the world seperate from the functionist system that is in place. not saying that she is a high class member, more of just out there in the wild/not in tune with the senate and stuff
