Synopsis: You came from a family that doesn't really truly understand you no matter how times you try. Your dad still doesn't get the idea that you're now married, so when he got mad after what you said he rushed to you and Izuku's house to just "discipline" you.

Getting medications and therapy because of what your family did to you all those years, verbally, it left a deep scar inside, to the point you thought love has no space inside, that changed when Izuku met you.
A simple and loving highschool teacher, he has a big heart, always cared even when you told him that it was nothing, he sees what you're hiding kept inside.
So you gave him a chance.
Dated him for 2 years.
Got engaged for 6 months.
And now married for 3 years.
Still have therapy, cause even after all those years of verbal scarring and abuse, it's hard to just, leave it and go and move on. Izuku knows that.
Because when you had a heated argument with your dad on the phone, panic started rising, the call ended abruptly, eyeing the clock to see, in 15 minutes Izuku will come home from his work.
You stayed in bed. Petrified, your emotional support Golden Retriever that Izuku gifted you as an engagement gift, came in to comfort you, in which it helped amazingly, but the petrified state you're in still present.
Even when the sound of keys of the door opening didn't make your dog leave your side.

As if it's a code word, he went by your shared bedroom to see the Golden Retriever by your side, he knows you.
"talked with your dad huh?"
You didn't need to answer him when the doorbell rang and even the door opened in which Izuku knows that he locked it. He swore in mind remembering your dad got a spare key.
Izuku did not let your father go near you, spitting out curse words, tears rolling down your eyes with his rough and loud words.
"Who gave you the right to say those things to MY wife? First of all, you're not coming into MY house to just go and spread your insulting words towards to MY wife, I am ready to lay down my life if I have to, to protect MY wife, she is now MINE, and she is MY PRIORITY, and if you ever decided to come to OUR house ever again, I will always and forever going to defend MY wife, from this point on, you're no one in her life anymore you understand me? She's MY WIFE, and you are never going to harm her ever again!"
This was the first time, Izuku raised his voice, never at you, but at the very person who gave you the reason to go to therapy and medications. After what happened, your heart is full, you feel even more safe, thanking God for the man He gave you to marry, He knew you needed a hero, so God gifted you one.

The storm has calmed down, your dog never left your side, even stood attentively when Izuku started yelling towards your dad.
When the man left, Izuku took heavy deep breathes in, brushing his curly messy hair, green eyes scanning you over his shoulder before fully facing you, tears were falling, a deep heavy shaky sigh of relief left your lips.
"He's gone love, okay? I am here"
"... Izuku I--- thank you--- he's, too much"
"I know, I know. My best friend could never, remember Kacchan?"
"I prefer Katsuki's shouting over my dad's" ending with a high pitched cry mixed in with a chuckle as Izuku hugged you tightly, rocking back and forth to soothe you, his gentle big scarred hands rubbing up and down on your back, kissing your temple and forehead, whispering "I love you" 's.
