This was almost exactly 9 years ago to date and I still remember this day with perfect clarity. I remember we got into the city early and had literally the best Chinese food at some hole in the wall place that I’ll most likely never find again. It sort of makes it better that way. We danced our hearts to Inferno’s set at Union Transfer. This was the night W/IFS got thrown off the Addicts tour. That information makes our decision to leave after Inferno’s set all the more fated. Solidarity and all that. Fuck those guys.

I still love my boyfriend just as much as I did when I took this photo. It’s amazing how much impact W/IFS and especially Jack had on my friendships and even relationships back then. There’s a special type of bond that is made in the pit of a World/Inferno show that just hits different.

What can I say, I learned it from the best.
