The way they poured their way out of your eyes.

The way they learned to find new routes down your cheeks to meet the ground.

The way they blurred your vision, bathing your sight to give it new perspective – it is all part of the healing process.

Pick up your joy,

wipe the bad days off of your smile,

and pluck out of your heart the things keeping it from knowing love.

Who you need to become cannot carry itself into better days if the good in you is being weighed down.

Can’t you see we are an equation that will never make sense to those with bitter hearts?

How can 1+1=1 in those eyes who have yet to see real love?

How can they recognize something this special when it only mirrors their unanswered prayer?

They will never see the safety I find in your eyes. They will never taste the loyalty that is full on your lips.

They will never experience the beautiful dance our hearts are cherishing.

We only need to see it. We are the only ones who can fill more pages of this story.
