the other post i made stopped gaining traction. i need help paying rent in 5 days because i nearly died

on the 20th of august, i went to the hospital because i was in excruciating pain and i couldn’t shake the feeling that i was dying. i found out i’d developed sepsis from an untreated uti i had. i was on intense iv antibiotics & now i’m at home taking my own. i’m still severely weak, i have less mobility with my arms and hands and my muscles violently ache if i lift anything over 5 pounds. i’ve been out of work since i went to the hospital, and i was out of work for nearly a week beforehand because i was in the process of transferring to a new job. my rent monthly is $360, not including any utilities or the groceries i’m going to need to buy because i have nothing but mac and cheese and bread. my partner is barely getting hours and all of their paycheck is going towards rent, and i need help with my portion, plus what we need for food and utilities. and don’t even get me started on when i’m going to have to pay this medical bill LOL... i’ve gotten some donations already and i’m so thankful for what has been sent. if you can’t donate, please reblog. anything helps. i want to be able to eat and live comfortably while i’m healing from this. thank you.

Hello everyone, to my mutuals and friends. I feel awful for making on of ‘those’ posts but here we are. I’m a single mom, recently cut off my whole toxic and neglectful family, and my 3 year old daughter is living with her dad in Mombasa since I’m currently getting my degree. I’m in school full time, because I want to finish as soon as possible, and I work as a student gallery assistant that pays me just enough for the bills I have (insurance, internet, small stuff here and there). I’m going to visit my daughter this summer and thanks to Biden and them, I had enough for the ticket. However, because I don’t speak to my family, I don’t have a place to stay anymore. I looked on Airbnb and there’s a place right in Old Town close to where my daughter lives, that costs $800 for 2 months (the duration I’ll be there). I’d appreciate any contribution you guys can give. I just really want to spend time with my daughter but I don’t want to sacrifice my mental health by associating with my family for that. If you’re unable to help, I completely understand, these are hard times, however any help you give, will come back to you 10 fold.

hello, our country got hit by a typhoon yesterday, and our house got flooded from the typhoon. Most of our furnitures got damaged, I still dont know about the appliances for now since the sockets got wet from the flood.
