Sims 2 - Eliot Sofa (MESH)

I made this in celebration of my first sofa. I actually bought a sleeper sofa but I figured the regular one would be nice enough for my sims. Poly count is a bit high but still acceptable at 3370. I also made 2 Wood and 14 Fabric recolors using random fabric swatches from the website. Sorry for the uninspiring preview pic it looks pretty decent in game. :p

Sims 2 - Sim Upload (14 Sims)

So these are some of my favorite faces in (and out of) my game currently. I do tend to like certain facial features but I think that for the most part they're different enough.

Some Notes: Because I use default hairs/clothes they won't come packaged with the hairstyles/clothing pictured. They will however come with any skin, makeup, and accessories they are pictured with.

Note: The skins are a blend I made using alfredaskew's reconstruction skins. As I made them for my own use and am an amateur they are certainly far from perfect and I pretty much only messed with the faces and left the file names and the body textures the same. That of course means that you cannot have these and the original skins in your game at the same time.

SIMS 2 - Preston Office (MESH)

So this is a set that I started years ago before my hard drive crashed only to find that all that was left by the time I was able to get things back and running was the desk. I really loved this set though, so I decided to mesh it again and add a few more pieces as well...

Thanks to everyone in #simschat's advice during the making of this set.

In total there are 12 pieces in this set. Poly counts and categories (for deco) are listed next to each object.

Desk: 484 The desk is the master mesh for the stools, the shelf, and the file cabinet. It has two subsets so that you can mix and match the textures as shown and comes with 4 wood recolors. The desk has 2 slots on the main surface and 4 slots along the top where you can place deco. To cycle through the deco slots you'll want to use the right side of the desk. The main slot on the right side is also set back a bit so that it works better with computers.

Stool: 334 Stool W/ Cushion: 774 The first stool has the same subsets as the desk while the stool with the cushion is slaved to the desk and the deco cushion. The Stool that has the cushion attached is a bit more expensive and offers more comfort than the stool that does not have it.

File Cabinet: 716 The file cabinet has two subsets so that you can mix and match the woods or have it all as one.

Lamp: 732 The lamp has 2 subsets and the handle has 4 recolors that match the woods done for the rest of the set.

Cushion: 442 (deco/misc) This cushion comes in 6 colors. It is the master mesh for the cushion that is attached to the stool.

Shelf: 206 This shelf has two slots and two recolorable subsets so that you can mix and match the woods.

Bookcase: 1530 The bookcase has 4 recolors and 2 subsets. The books can be recolored separately from the bookcase itself. The bookcase has one slot in the "O" where you can place (very small) decorative items. In this case the mini flower I made fits right in but other small deco fits in pretty nicely as well.

Pinboard: 348 (deco/wall) The pinboard has 4 recolors.

Clock: 278 (deco/walls) This clock has 4 recolors and two subsets for mix and match purposes. (Is this getting old yet?)

Cube Deco: 690 (deco/sculpture) The cube deco has 4 wood recolors using the same textures as the rest of the set.

(Mini) Flower: 318 (deco/plants) The mini flower has two subsets so the pot is able to be recolored separately from the flower and it comes with 4 recolors for both the flower and the pot although admittedly the flower recolors are pretty similar.

SIMS 2 - Sink (Mesh)

I made this mesh a long time ago for a friend. I always intended for it to become part of a larger set, but it just never materialized. I may do that some day, but I thought maybe someone can find a use for it as is.

I’ve used it in game quite a bit and there have been no major issues that I’ve noticed. Polycount should be reasonable.

SIMS 2 - Loveseat (Mesh)

Hi guys, so it's been awhile since I meshed something but today I have finally managed to slip a toe back in the door.

This is a loveseat with an attached end table. The entire thing is a little less than 2300 polys I believe and there is one slot that you can put deco on the little end table. There are also two recolors included -- the second reminds me of ts3 university furniture so I think I’ll work pretty great in that kind of setting. It probably requires pets.

I hope to be able to make more things soon.

SIMS 2 - Hair Default Retexture

I thought someone else besides me might find this useful. I really liked this hair default for the maroon dreadsband but wasn’t super fond of the texture so I replaced it with the ts3 dreads textures which I like quite a bit more. 

I use an edit of pyrotechnic in my game so you will probably need to change that texture to match your color of choice. Besides that I used Dynamite, Shrapnel, Mail Bomb and Volatile.

Sims 2 - (More) Criquette Retextures

I was working on getting my hood ready when I realized that I still needed a few more pieces to finish the job, so here are retextures of two more sets by criquette. Just as last time you can’t have both these and the original in at the same time, they have the same name and guid so they will overwrite the originals if placed in the same folder.

I did all of the athletic set, and everything but the buses in the transit set to match curiousb’s lush neighborhood terrain which you can get here. (Note: The Bus Transit Set is far from perfect. There are some seams, and the bus stop is using a smaller texture than the others, so it has some blurriness. There are more pictures here.)

I put curiousb’s grass textures on criquette’s embankment set and well that’s about it. I simply replaced the textures in the original files, so you can’t have both these and the original in at the same time, they have the same name so they will overwrite the originals if placed in the same folder. SIMS 2 - Mark Ryden/Adele Mashup

So, this is a project I’ve been sitting on for quite some time that I decided to update and upload. They are some of Mark Ryden’s Art on a few of Adele’s meshes. Plus an extra (not shown) of one of the original recolors of the pear painting mesh.

Note: for the pear painting, depending on how far away you are and the angle of the painting you may see a line pop up in the middle. which you can get an idea of in this image, as well as in the previews.

SIMS 2 - 10 Wall Patterns w/ 5 Options

I wasn’t planning on uploading anything, but as today is PikkonSimming’s first birthday I decided to make an exception.

SIMS 2 - Plums Bedroom Mesh Set

I hope you guys come to love ‘Plums’ as much as I do.

This is my largest set to date with 54 meshes and I thought it only fitting that it be a donation gift to the forum. You’re going to want to read all of the information below.

A few quick things first:

-All meshes should be basegame

-The repository method is used extensively in this set and you will need the master meshes in game in order for you to see the textures in many of the pieces. Otherwise they will flash blue.

-Some pieces in this set are quite high poly. I have listed the poly counts at the end of the post so you can decide whether or not your game can handle them.

-Many of the meshes come with a shutters version which makes them higher poly as the shutters are meshed.

-Some of the thumbnails are hard to see because I have a terrible memory and make mistakes during the meshing process.

-The animations are off on the sinks and shower.

-Several of the objects look weird or different outside than they do inside. I think it has something to do with how my meshing program smoothes them and don’t know a way around it yet. so sorry about that.

-Pretty pictures of the set can be found in the Donation Thread. You shouldn’t need to log in to view them.

I can’t show everything so pictures of all of the individual items can be found in this slideshow.
