I know a lot of shit is going down, and I just want to say that people can say whatever they want about me "behind closed doors" and I'm not trying to sway votes or have people like more or whatever, but this post is for me. I joined this game for the sake of entertainment and fun but it has been the exact opposite of that. it's not fun anymore. and I'm not going to quit because what would that prove to anyone? My trust, friendships I've made and integrity have all been put on the line, to the test and thrown up in the air in this game.
I'm happy if I get kicked out in the next round or make it to the end because I proved something to myself and I stood up for what I believed and showed myself that I can get knocked down and get back up. I don't care if my vote in the end is 7-0 (me being the zero).
I've played this game with my heart and honesty and will continue to do so. and I'm sure everyone is like "it's a god damn game" and it is... this isn't worth as much as you think because there is NO PRIZE AT THE END. I thank Kaitlyn and Jake for making this a fun experience but is it worth it at this point to lose people you were close to and have my character tossed around? no. I had fun the first few weeks, but no bueno any more. I used to look forward to coming to this game after class each day, but now it's kind of the thing I dread to come home to.
I'm not saying this experience is bad in ANY way shape or form. and again, this isn't to anyone at all, it's what I've been feeling overall, I get that it's competitive but when it starts to make you feel angry, envious, bitter, or judgmental in any way is when you need to take a step back and remember that everyone in this game is a real person, and I've had those feelings too. I don't know if I should say it again, because I don't want anything to be misconstrued, but this is for my benefit, I hope everyone can at least respect that.
