having a medic as your carrier means you are most definitely going to grow up very healthy. ratchet is grumpy in a good portion of continuities, but he is always kind and compassionate at the end of the day and will make sure his kid is taken care of. he'd be a pretty no-nonsense and strict creator, but his hardassness would come from a place of love and a desire to not see another loved one die from something he could've done something about.
