today is the start of a new age! from this day forward, this will be a multi-muse blog!

thank you for your cooperation!

::無制限の:: “No need to get so flustered about it, Miss Green-eyes. I was simply stating a fact.” Goldenweek sighed, sipping a little bit of tea, before looking down at it in disappointment— it was empty. Holding it out expectantly, she opened her mouth again. “Tea, please.”
"Miss Green-eyes...?"
Confused by the nickname, almost astounded by the girl's demeanor, it took her a minute to come back to reality after trying to solve the impossible mystery that is Goldenweek.
"O-Oh, tea! Sure, uh-- Wait--"
"...Wh-Where's the, uh... Th'kettle...?"

"I feel ya there, sister! Don’t worry; I’d never leave someone out at sea without a good smoke, ‘specially a nice gal like yourself!"
With that, the carpenter lit up her own cigarette and stuck it in between her lips, then passed a new one with the lighter along to Torikutsu.
"I actually lived on a tobacco farm my whole life, m’self. My whole family does it, so it’s really just a part of life for us. I mean hey, if it puts food on your table, it’s good to you, ain’t it?"
"Aww, hell yes! I owe ya one fer real, hun."
She took the cigarette between her lips and lit it quickly, handing back the lighter as she took the first drag, savoring every aspect of it, from the flavor to how smooth it was.
"Ah, s'that so? We usually smoked t'relax while on base b'fore important flights, like cargo delivery or missions. 'Course, we handled th'after-nerves with alcohol. Not a good idea t'take that process in reverse, though, unless ya really hate both yer plane and-or yerself. Haven't really been on base since I got accepted into Hope's Peak, though, so it's been a while fer me. Like I said, I owe ya one. ...An' if this's yer family's tobacco, ya may have jus' earned yerself a patron fer life."

"I…uh…I’m fine, I…I’m just feelin’ a little uneasy but I’m gettin’ used to it…"
For a moment, Haruye felt like she’d never get used to being on this boat. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a half-empty box of cigarettes, along with the small butane lighter she carried around.
"Say um… do ya mind if I…? Sorry if it’s kinda gross but…it eases my stomach, y’know?"
"Well, a'course, I don't mind! But ya better share. Haven't had a smoke in what feels like centuries, an' I ain't bothered t'get mine outta m'luggage right now! Though, I honestly didn't take ya fer th'type ta smoke, but hey, ya can't really know someone after 2 or 3 minutes, so I shouldn't jump ta conclusions."

"Alright, Makida. I myself would have thought that a birds-eye view would be even better then the normal perspective, but I guess one cannot go into museums and stuff while piloting a plane, that is true. I myself cant really recall last being in a plane, if that’s anything of note. They probably will let us see the local tourist spots, but bets are there’ll be a catch or something. "You have to stick with your assigned partner" and "your group leader will show you the way" are two classic examples. If they make us skip something important though, then I will care not for the consequences of ditching the "school" for a day."
"Well, yeah, I mean... I've seen th'Eiffel Tower, fer example, but never gone inside, which I hear's the best way t'go. Ugh, seriously?! I mean, I'm fine with th'buddy system or a tour guide, but usually they jus' show what we've already heard about! Unless... Unless there's a chance they could show us the gritty underbelly of some of the cities. If that's a possibility, we're in fer a treat with Italy's mafia..."

Haruye smiled and laughed a bit in response.
"Heh, I like the way ya talk, Torikutsu! So, you’re a fighter pilot, right? You in a branch? Air Force, maybe?"
The carpenter was excited to talk to a real life fighter pilot. At one point, she considered being in the Navy herself, and thought she could put all that craftsmanship to good work…
…but once she got on here, she reconsidered being on a big boat for a long time like that…
She raised a brow once she noticed the other looking a bit... Sick, like... Seasickness, yeah. She had heard of it, but really, never experienced it, not having been in the Navy. Even now, she didn't quite feel any different than when she stepped aboard. Or maybe that was just because she still felt unnaturally excited?
"That is coooorrect! Japanese Air Defense Force, commander of Troop 114! Kyoto Base. I, myself, was born in Kyoutanabe, but I guess I live in th'capital now, since that's where th'base is located."
"Oi... D'ya need ta sit down? Yer lookin' kinda... Bluh, y'know."

Even seeing her happy made him smile wider. In his mind, he could easily tell the love was genuine. He internally made a promise to take good care of her. “As always, you prove deserving to be called my princess, heh…”
His smile was wide as he held her, and he realized something. Wasn’t she with friends? He glanced over to them through the corner of his eyes. Well, this certainly could be awkward.
She had nearly forgotten that she was, indeed, with friends. As she looked behind her position buried in his chest, pouting at the sight of her friends trying to hold back their grins. She waved them away as they simply nodded, leaving them be and letting her get back to her happy place.
"...Don't you worry 'bout them, they're like family t'me, so they know not t'disturb me when I'm this happy." She nuzzled his chest as she cuddled up close to him, eyes slowly falling shut. "Yeah... Right here. Right here in yer arms s'my happy place."

She relaxed, resting one hand on her neck.
"I appreciate the comment. Torikutsu the Fighter pilot, how interesting. -But, yes: you are correct. I have next to no clue where we are heading, and apparently none of our classmates do either. But, well… France or Italy sounds like interesting stops at the very least. I’ve never traveled much, so I wonder what this entire thing will be like. When we do land ashore at whatever stops, I do hope we get time for ourselves to explore. It would be terrible to be escorted everywhere."
"Ah, please. Feel free t'call me Makida if ya like. An' yeah, I'd at lease like t'sightsee past th'shorelines. I mean, I've traveled a lot, but I only got a bird's-eye view of things. T'see things from th'ground must be a lot much more amazin'... I mean, since th'only vacations I've ever had were to th'nearby beach back home, this's huge fer me, s'yeah. They better let us see th'sights or I'm gonna enter a realm of pissed off I've never been in before."

Haruye almost jumped at the sound of the fighter pilot yelling, but when she turned around, she was happy to see someone so enthusiastic. With a smile on her face, the carpenter ran up to Torikutsu and gave a quick salute.
"Haruye Tokunaga, SHSL Carpenter reporting for duty, ma’am!"
She stood straight as the other introduced herself, returning the salute-- But, of course, not without a bit of flair. Just to be a showoff. Bringing her arms parallel to the floor, she swung them about into a salute, her motions as smooth as clockwork.
"Torikutsu Makida, SHSL Fighter Pilot! A'course, if ya manage ta get close enough, y'can call me Makida, an' even closer... Makimama.-- That, that was a joke, don't take it seriously, I-- If anyone were ta call me 'mama' I'd either haveta take a huge fondness to 'em or they'd better be prepared fer a punch to th'face."

It took her a moment to react to the energetic classmate suddenly calling for everyone to introduce themselves, but she eventually played stepped forward.
"Fumiyo Kishimoto, SHSL Chess master reporting. It is a pleasure to meet you, whoever you may be. I welcome you to the wacko boat, where there is no teachers and apparently pre-planning doesnt matter.
But now I must ask: What is YOUR name and rank?”
She chuckled, crossing her arms as she shifted her weight slightly back.
"Oh ho, I could get ta likin' you. Alrighty then, th'name's Torikutsu Makida. SHSL Fighter Pilot. Now, y'say pre-plannin' ain't a thing, so... Do we really have any idea where we're headin'? If I made th'choice, I'd head fer France, or maybe Germany, or-- Or maybe Italy-- Naples or Sicily or Venice sounds good t'me, honestly, so if we're headed there, I ain't gonna complain!"
When I was in the supermarket I saw a man and a woman wrapped in a barcode. I asked “Are you two an item?”
"I didn't know why th'baseball was gettin' bigger an' comin' closer, but then it hit me."
"Upupupu, about time you bastards got here!"

As he noticed her response, he had hoped she would help. He instantly wrapped his arms around her, and pulled her close. “And I promise to show how strong my love for you will grow each day. I promise to show that I truly will never forget your care for me. I promise to stay beside you.”
He smiled as he held her, happy that she would stay beside him and take care of him. All of the worry was disappearing, as he knew he could trust her.
"…I love you."
She grinned as he wrapped his arms tightly around her, returning the embrace excitedly as she nuzzled his chest slightly, beaming with happiness as her eyes fluttered shut. She definitely made the right choice, she knew so. From here on out, things could only get better and better. She knew that for a fact.
"...I love ya, too, Nate. Always."
