I never expected so many of you when I shyly started trying my hand at Azura. As things happened, I found that I really on some levels have resonated with her character and it’s been a real learning experience and writing challenge! Of course, to me that’s really enjoyable as I always want to improve and strive to! Along the way I have been shy, but slowly have gathered courage to reach out a bit and each time I have been treated so kindly. That’s something I really want you guys to be proud of as a community because I think kindness can be rare and so seeing it displayed and with such open-minds and creative hearts has been such a blessing for me in a writing environment. It’s been a privilege to have you guys on my dash, much less to have you consider me on yours! List under the cut!

      As startling as the high prince’s hair might have been,        he was far less comfortable with confronting him about        it. Sure, Takumi was real scary when he wanted to be.        But look at that baby face of his. He was about as scary        as a kitten. Of course, he says that now but he’s sure        that he doesn’t really want to be on the business end of        the Fujin Yumi either. Jeez. What was with all these royal        families wanting to slay him? He was just telling them the        truth! Honesty’s the best policy and all that.         "That explains a lot.“ He answers simply, nodding in         reply. Well, of course it did. If it was all poofy in the back,        it was no surprise that Takumi had done it himself. Why        else would it look so weird? He probably couldn’t reach        up or something so it just ended up like that. A hum        before he offers a wide smile. ”No, you gotta tell me!“        ”I don’t know if you heard, but I have the best hair in         the whole camp! I was an A+ hair care expert back         home. I could fix,“ A general gesture towards the other’s        hair in general. ”… that entire disaster area for you! Tell        me!“ He’s getting dangerously closer. Run while you still        can, Takumi. ”Tell me, tell me, tell me!“

【 ➼ 】“It’s not a disaster!” Snapping at the other like that wasn’t going to make him stop. The kitsune had already drawn so close to him that Takumi could already feel himself beginning to sweat. He had no intention of doing anything to him, but he was growing increasingly uncomfortable.  “Why are you making my hair your problem anyways? If you don’t like it, then don’t look at it. I don’t need help from anyone.”

Sure, it sounded tempting to have Kaden fix his hair up for him, but never in a million years would Takumi give up on his current style. It turned out this way by mistake, but at least he had done it himself. In fact, the prince had actually grown used to the style, it set him apart and made him easy to pick out in a crowd. Although being called a pineapple was annoying, he could handle it.

“And can you please back off? I’m really not going to tell you anything with you getting so close to me like that.” Takumi wished he hadn’t worded it like that, his statement almost sounding as if it were a promise to share his styling adventures if the kitsune would just give him some personal space
