When I remake or redraw a cat that I already posted I usually just edit the post, but I think Ravenpaw deserves a new one. So, there goes a new Ravenpaw design because the previous one was making me unreasonably angry. It just looks so awkward and wonky... Ughdhdh. So I made a new one - he still looks mostly the same, but I made his freckles white instead of gray, gave him an additional white marking on his nose bridge, and gave his white chest spot some more shape. I like how the white on his chest has a bird-shape in the TNP graphic novel, so I tried to do something similar and made it resemble a pair of wings.
I enjoy the idea that he was kinda malnourished and fragile-looking during his time in ThunderClan due to all the stress there, but he gained weight and confidence when he joined Barley in the barn. He's still pretty lean, just more filled out
The farmer guy. I like the little mustache he has in the graphic novels, so I attempted to give him something similar. He also has a bit of gray in addition to his black, just for funsies. He's just big and chunky in general, fluffy and extremely huggable. I might or might not have colorpicked his eye colors from the gay pride flag...
His first litter of kits with Snowbird was born while he was still an apprentice, so my headcanon is that he used to be a loner and joined the clan as an adult to be with Snowbird. We never see him as a kit and never learn about his parents, so it's pretty believable for him to just originally not be a clan cat.
My personal headcanon that I've gotten very attached to lately c: I just like the idea that this whole thing with her having a crush on Firestar was actually her misreading her crush on Sandstorm instead. Like, she's been getting oddly upset whenever she sees Firestar and Sandstorm together lately, and due to her culture's heteronormative standards she just kind of assumed that it's probably because she's into Firestar, and not his big buff beautiful wife.
It's inspired by sad machine's "Girl Crush" Cinderpelt PMV and also this one comic that I recently saw here on Tumblr

There you go c: I believe he would just be kind of a little Palebird clone, maybe with less white and more black... He has his father's eyes and spotted nose and the inside of his ears. His pawpads have two colors as well - the front ones are darker, while the back ones are light pink.

I went with the most popular headcanons of Tallstar being gay and Jake being bi, but I think Jake being pan could be a pretty good headcanon as well ^^
Brambleclaw's genes didn't even try istg. To make him resemble his father at least somewhat, I gave him his tabby patterns and white tail tip, ear tips and chin. He also has his dad's small ears, but the floppy ear, along with all his other traits, he got from Squirrelflight.
I like to think that as a kitten he liked to decorate Squirrelflight's bushy tail with various flowers, leaves or feathers he would find around camp. When he grew up, he continued to do the same thing to himself, and then also to kits or young apprentices that came to the medicine den. He would just give them flowers or other little trinkets, kinda like doctors give children lollipops or stickers to cheer them up after a checkup c:
He has Ferncloud's colorpoint markings and a bunch of freckles, along with a white tail tip and ear fluff. He has small ears like both of his parents, as well as Dustpelt's eyes and sturdy build. He never got to grow as buff as he could have, since he unfortunately died too early :c He was described with a narrow muzzle, which I made him inherit from either his uncle Ravenpaw or grandpa Whitestorm.
It's not Pride Month quite yet, but I wanted to share these two anyway - Frostdawn and Whistlebreeze c:
I like to headcanon Whistlebreeze as transfem because she was being referred to as a tom back in The Broken Code, becoming a she-cat only in A Starless Clan. She's also a lesbian because of her lack of interest in these two skibidi sigma rizzlers, Beach and Slate, that tried flirting with her back in Ivypool's Heart. And Frostdawn is bi because I said so.
I don't really like how I drew Frostdawn's face... I'm kinda bad at drawing cat profiles, I fear.
She's pretty famous for having had 9 kits, but if you consider author statements canon, she actually might have had 11. The canon 9 with Scorchfur - Cloverfoot, Berryheart, Rippletail, Yarrowleaf, Beenose, Bluebellkit, Gullswoop, Frondwhisker and Conefoot. And then, with Boulder, she would have Wildfur and Nightwing. It doesn't really add or change anything, since neither of the two are important at all, so I personally like to believe it, just for fun.
I made her small, chubby and fluffy, since that's just how I imagined her as due to her name. I don't really like making completely blank cats, especially when they're relevant in any way, but I still like the idea of Snowbird just being entirely white. And so, to solve it, I did end up giving her some markings - just really light ones, so that they don't take away from her "pure white" description. She also got a heart shaped nose, just cause it's cute.
I'm not really sure what's up with her pose. She's just chilling, I guess.
I've been feeling kinda uninspired lately, but I still want to post my kitties, at least once a day. So instead of stopping entirely, I decided to just quit writing the unnecessarily long descriptions. I will probably start writing them again eventually, but for now, I'll just stick to the drawings themselves and design notes, maybe occasionally some thoughts or headcanons if I have any.
So, here's Hollyleaf. She resembles Crowfeather the most, her fur has a warmer tint to it though, unlike Crowfeather's blue-ish pelt. She has his markings as well - the mask, dark tail and ears, along with the ear tufties and the shape of her ear fluff. And body type - she has the classic WindClan build, thin with big ears and long muzzle. She has Firestar's green eyes, and Deadfoot's dark neck fur. Overall, she's just kinda spiky looking, like she's bristling all the time.
Might as well do more of the BerrySparrow family so let's do Berry's hubby. Yeah, Sparrowtail. The man that stuck to his wife to the bitter end.
In canon, he does absolutely nothing. He just sits in the background and really is just there but him grieving over Berryheart was really sad.

I admire his devotion to his wife. He supported her in all of her rights and wrongs, even followed her out of ShadowClan. We never got to see the details of their relationship, but the speech he gave at Berryheart's funeral was enough for the reader to know all about it. She was strong where he was not - she completed him, in a way. It was written very sweetly and beautifully, just a husband mourning his beloved wife. But when I thought about it, their relationship was probably rather toxic, considering how Berryheart is... It seems like she was just overpowering him mentally, taking advantage of his timidness to make him dependent on her. I might be looking too far into it, but that's just how it felt to me, especially after Sparrowtail's speech. I'm not saying that she was completely using and manipulating him - no, in books like Tigerheart's Shadow, it looks like they genuinely did love each other. Berryheart is just the type of person who would be willing to use these feelings to her advantage.
I can honestly see why he's so attached to Berryheart. He lost his family early on - we never met his father, his sister Dewkit died before they even got to leave the nursery. His mother, Kinkfur, died to yellowcough, and then both his other sister Mistcloud and his daughter Needletail were murdered by Darktail. He almost lost Berryheart too, since Darktail attempted to drown her as well. Sparrowtail himself had to run away from the Clans to avoid such fate, along with his miraculously surviving mate. Berryheart and their second litter of kits - Hollowflight, Spireclaw and Sunbeam - were his only surviving family.
But even when we put Berryheart aside, Sparrowtail really just seems like the follower type. He's always just a part of the crowd, never speaking up first, always following someone else's lead. He had his own opinions - he was more accepting of Spireclaw's relationship with Fringewhisker, though reluctantly at first. He generally seemed to be more open-minded than Berryheart, not even being an active member of her clique. Still, when she needed support, he was there to provide it, whether he agreed with her or not. Even when she was being just straight up evil, he still believed that she could change, that she was still good, somewhere deep down. It seems like she just meant to him more than his personal views did, which might seem sweet at first, but can be pretty damaging in the long run.
Anyway, heavy stuff aside. He had this one really cute scene with Ivypaw back when he was a kit. She was being held hostage in ShadowClan, and he asked her if she can fly, to which she told him that actually all ThunderClan cats fly. They're just cool like that. It was just a generic funny kit scene, but I thought it was cute, so I'm mentioning it.
Since we don't know who his father was, I just made him resemble his mother. He has practically all the same markings, just with different colors - he's brown with green eyes, while Kinkfur is gray with dark blue eyes. He has the same scruffy, unruly fur as her. He's skinnier than her, though, being rather lean, but still with big paws.

A brick fell on his head when he was born or something. He's Scourge's other bodyguard, the less relevant and interesting one. I assume he and Bone knew each other before, since they approached Tiny together, looking for help with the dog that was causing them trouble.
He doesn't really get much characterization, but I like to imagine him as this kinda dumb, crazy, chaotic gremlin type of creature, like this one hyena, Ed, in The Lion King. I feel like it's a pretty common character archetype, but I genuinely can't think of any other examples.
What's interesting is that he survived the battle in which Scourge and Bone both died. He is later seen in Graystripe's Vow, still a part of BloodClan, now serving under Fury.
For the longest time I was completely certain that he was a she-cat, so in my mind he's trans. It's actually a fairly common headcanon, from what I've seen.
Since you already drawed Fringewhisker! Draw her amazing dumb but supportive boyfriend, Spireclaw, plz.

Yay, I love this guy :3 I mentioned him in my post about Fringewhisker already, but I'll repeat myself here anyway.
I love how supportive he is! He wasn't just a deadbeat useless nobody that so many toms are in these books - you could genuinely tell that he loved and cared for Fringewhisker and was willing to fight for her, even with his own mother.
His relationship with Sunbeam was very sweet too. Them just supporting each other even if everyone else was against them - it was super precious to me.
I don't quite remember if it was a thing in the books, but I do like the idea of him being friends with Nightheart. Like, all four of them going on double dates and stuff, I think it would be cute c: Maybe they could even be triple dates, with Lightleap and Bouncefire joining them as well.
Overall, he's just a lighthearted little thing, a bit silly at times, but still willing to fight and get serious if he needs to. Just a really neat guy, I like him a lot <3
And yes, he is practically identical to Berryheart in appearance. From his dad, Sparrowtail he got his fur texture and body shape. He's a bit more lean and kinda spiky looking, compared to Berryheart's fluff and chub. The white on his face also isn't quite identical to hers. I liked the designs where his face is asymmetrical, so I gave him this trait as well. He still has a half-black muzzle like Berryheart though. His nose is shaped like Sparrowtail's, but half-black and half-pink like Berryheart's. Other things that make him different from Berryheart are his paws - he doesn't have the single black toe like his mom, but he does have one fully black paw, with darker paw pads of the same color as the dark half of his nose. He has Berryheart's small ears, but with Sparrowtail's ear tufties. And his green eyes he got from his grandmother, Snowbird.
