Take as much time as you need. :D
Thank you sooo much for understanding! You've really been nothing but super sweet since we've met! <3333 And your Tai is soooo phenomenal. Forever crying at the thought of my first ever message to you getting EATEN and then fearing the worst. ;; I could not have been anymore wrong and I'm so glad for it!!

"I'm sorry, everyone," Hikari apologized, her soulful expression belying the candidness of her emotions crystal clear. She sat up, adjusting Tailmon on her lap. Gently squeezing her arms around her Digimon's midsection, Hikari took comfort in the feline's bodily warmth and only hugged her more so against her chest. Idly, she wondered as to what the reactions would be, bracing herself, although trying her best to not back down. If there was ever a time to show she was serious, it was now. "...I feel like this is for the best."

"All right, that’s enough! I can’t take anymore of this!" Honestly, she didn’t know where the sudden barrage of eagerly displayed and over the top affection was coming from at all. Or maybe that was a lie? The pair of siblings had always been close, and only grown more so over the years. Taiichi was not like other guys who thought himself above wearing his heart on his sleeve, although Hikari knew almost more than anyone else how much he tried to remain steadfast and strong for the good of others he cared about. If Taichi was so eager about showing his love, then giving him an appreciative smile alone seemed hardly enough. Moving forward so that she was standing directly beside him, Hikari then stood on tiptoe before pressing her lips against the side of his cheek in a chaste peck of a kiss. "Seems only right for the best big brother in the whole world!"

"Onii-chan!" Hikari burst out, laughing whilst her hands rose to hover over her mouth —- not that the gesture did anything to contain her mirth. She giggled, spots of bright, rosy pink forming on the apples of her cheeks on either side of her face. "Don’t you think that’s a little too much?” she rebuked him, although it would have been a lie to say Hikari did not enjoy the positive reimbursement from her elder brother. She’d always held Taichi in high esteem, as anyone who knew Hikari could tell you; as a kid she never saw him capable of doing any wrong, and looked to him for his courage to brave the world head on and ability to easily speak his mind and mean it. She still did. Realizing she had yet to thank him, Hikari went ahead and vocally expressed the sentiment. “ —- Thanks, onii-chan!”

"Hey Kari, I found this letter on the ground with your name on it. Except, the only thing on it was a large ✖. I figured maybe you would know what it was and that I should deliver it."
Wide, brown eyes met blue eyes with a great shock, glancing swiftly back and forth between Takeru’s face and the paper he was holding out towards her, waiting for Hikari to accept it. Alarming was the innocent cluelessness that she found there. He really didn’t have any idea what it was! Unable to fight the blush that bloomed in response, she took a step closer towards him, her fingers brushing his as she accepted it, and merely responded back, “Mmm! I don’t think I’ve seen this before until now. Thank you, T.K.…” Hikari continued to study the letter, her trailing gaze in particular taking in and lingering on the “✖” displayed there, still blushing, but smiling.

This was a cute and really unique way of going about sending that to me awww! Thank you so, so much! You know I value your opinion so much and it means a lot to have your belief in my portrayal for Hikari reaffirmed, even though you are never shy about complimenting me in general regarding my roleplaying. <33

"Hello there! The name’s Junpei Shibayama! Call me June!"
"H-Huh --- ?"
Startled by the impromptu greeting, and brown eyes widening with surprise, Hikari swiftly lowered her camera and shifted, only to see another teenaged girl standing in sudden, close proximity to her. Oh, wow! Where had she come from? And why hadn't Hikari noticed her sooner? Had Hikari really been that preoccupied and lost in her thoughts? Come to think of it, she was not even sure how long she had been out here, stopping along the trail to take a photograph of this and that. Nonetheless, Hikari felt herself flush with embarrassment. The full, white smile that was flashed resembled something like lightning, and with a perky, feminine voice to match. Hikari couldn't help but remain wordless, having been caught off guard; flickering her eyes from beneath her lashes, she was still on the reserved side, but friendly as she replied back, "Oh, um...sorry. It's nice to meet you, June." It was within Hikari's nature to be agreeable, so she did not go against her wish to be called by the nickname, despite them being strangers by all accounts.
"My name's Hikari Yagami," she offered, hastening to return June's smile. Although she was positive hers wasn't nearly as bright or fair. The more she looked at June, the more she sort of reminded her of Mimi. They both at least shared an effervescent type of personality, with a natural prettiness and flair to match. "Mostly everyone calls me Kari though. If you want, you can call me that too...So...erm, what brings you out to the park?" That was a rather lame question, and Hikari instantly ended up regretted asking it, but it was too late to take the words back.
"Well, it is certainly good to see you again. How are you?" asked Sakura.
"I’m good, thank you," Hikari replied, offering a sincere smile. Sakura was most certainly Koushiro’s daughter, if that head of dark, auburn hair and those expressive and undeniably intelligently gleaming brown eyes were anything to go by. Not only did she look the spitting image of her father, but she even reminded Hikari of him with the peculiar manner she spoke, suggesting a higher than average level of maturity than the usual for a young girl her age. She was a sweet, well-mannered child all in all, possessing a mind abuzz with curiosity and a plentiful thirst for knowledge that was charming.
Continuing on, she elaborated, "Just a little tired from thinking up fun activities in class, but Gatoman makes sure I get enough sleep. How about yourself? How have you been, Sakura-chan?"
