Portrait study

I tried drawing and painting the portrait just by looking at it, put the reference image over it, cut up my drawing & warped it so that it matched the reference, redrew it, and then color picked from the reference.

I learned a lot about the mistakes I make while drawing and what to do differently after using this method. I also realized that I’m inclined to make my drawings more saturated than they are. Overall, it was pretty helpful ✨
