A gingerbread swirled cake 💕 I needed a simple project to take with me because I have so many school related things I'm finishing, so self striping socks it is 🤗 Unfortunately I forgot to make a heel turn so I will have to rip it back a bit 🙃

Do you listen to music when you knit? If so, what's your favorite to listen to?

Really it depends on my concentration! Lately I’ve been listening to St. Vincent’s new album Masseduction, Post Malone, Mariah Carey and She & Him’s two xmas albums or creepy stories on youtube.

I wanted to make fair isle socks, more specifically snowflake/winter patterned ones and there weren’t a lot of revelry charts that I liked so I decided I would just make my own. My math was a little off at the end there, so the snowflakes aren’t perfect. I’m also thinking I don’t like the light brown/dark brown against each other... either way I’m going to slowly try and figure out color work and charts. 

Also the website I used is chart-minder, it’s made for knitting charts!

Officially on Thanksgiving break! Before I went home I grabbed the autumn copy of pompom and now I'm going to cake these skeins 🍰 I'm planning on making some cozy fair isle socks with this yarn, I've never used Quince & Co. before either!

❄️I LOVE CABLES!!! I have a feeling I might start it over because I don't like beginning CO and I should've added a few rows before I started the cable ☺️ If anyone is looking for a book to read I recommend The Snow Child ❄️
