I have a new username <3 Welcome to la pinksatnin! Pink is my favorite color, and satnin is inspired by Priscilla Presley’s nickname given to her by Elvis Presley. IYKYK. Priscilla is someone who I admire and deeply respect. I’m excited to continue blogging under this new username <3 I’m currently working on a post for tomorrow. I put together my first outfit collage since last month, and I’m so excited to share it. xo
The Nordstrom anniversary sale is going on until the 8th of August! YAY! This is one of my favorite places to shop. I have discovered amazing brands, they offer affordable items, and also have a great selection of pink items. If you’d like to see some of my pink favorites from the sale, keep reading ♡
Happy Saturday angels! I spend a lot of time window shopping on Nordstrom, searching for pink/white/cream items I can find. Usually items on sale don’t have many great options, but I can confidently say this post will not disappoint. I love everything that I picked out.
I don’t even know how to organize everything, so I’m going to categorize all of my favorites by price point. All of the links on this post are commissionable links. It will not change the sale price and it does not influence what I decide to share on my beauty diary.
Let’s get started with my favorites that are all under $100!

After watching The Queen’s Gambit, I have been searching for a decent replica of the Bulova American Girl “K” style bangle watch or something similar to the small watch style. For today’s blog post, I want to share this gorgeous and dainty watch I found while searching the web for watches. If you’re interested in following along my Queen’s Gambit style series, click on the keep reading link. ♡
I know I’m way late, but about two weeks ago I finally took the time to watch The Queen’s Gambit. I loved it, and saw it twice. I have plans to rewatch the series just so I can share my favorite outfits along with items I find that remind me of her style.
To start this series, I want to talk about the watch Beth’s adopted mother gifted her for graduation. It’s not often that I look at something someone else is wearing and am captivated by it. I’ll even admit watches are not my favorite. Not even smart watches. However, when I saw the Bulova watch, I fell in love. If I’m being honest, I didn’t even know small watches like this existed until I saw the show. I have skinny wrists, and I think what caught my eye the most was the small look, so I began my search for a decent replica or something similar. It was also nice to see that during my search, I wasn’t the only one after a replica of this watch.
Unfortunately, the Bulova American Girl series watches are vintage, and the brand no longer make/sell them. They have some new styles, but they are just not the same. I’m sorry Bulova. 🥺
I have been searching high and low for this watch, but I can't find any that capture my interest like the one from the show. BUT, as I was helping my dad find the value of some old watches he owns, I came across this dainty Armani piece and I just had to share it with you all! It’s not the same exact watch or a bangle style, but it does have that small, dainty look and it’s just perfect!
If you’re on the search for a similar watch to the Bulova, but like me, are struggling to find the perfect one, or if you’re simply just a watch collector, here is a great option to consider!

This 25mm watch features a glossy white mother-of-pearl dial with glitz indexes, two-hand movement and a double-wrap rose gold-tone stainless steel and detachable freshwater pearl bracelet.
Eeeep! I love it! Doesn’t it look so pretty on the model? If I find any other watches that remind me of the style on the show, I’ll be sure to share it. I’ll keep everything tagged here under The Queen’s Gambit and that’s how you’ll know where to find any future posts I make about the show on my blog.
If you have any questions or just want to chat about the show, feel free to send me a message here.
