i had a terrifying nightmare and woke up at 5am to clear it out of my mind. i was with Alex and we were looking to ride the train, but the staircases kept moving around, up and down, disappearing. some areas you couldn't stand because they'd move, but we'd found an area that was solid to observe upon what was happening

there were other people who had rushed for the train head of us -- nobody else took their time. we saw them on what looked like an escalator, panicking. they reached an area moving upwards into the ceiling where we couldn't hear them, but it sounded like the uphill climb on a steel rollercoaster. a very familiar sound.

shortly after that i heard crunching and screaming sounds, like they were being obliterated by machinery. i didn't want the same fate

after i recalled this i watched the pilot episode of a spinoff of the movie Limitless which came out 3 years prior. it had the sister in Dexter in it. it was bad but i still want to watch it

Shutting down

Loss does not motivate me

I have lost so little in life

I have kept nearly every sharp crystal, every smooth stone

and cast it back into the water

If it desired to swim

I haven’t minded the rest neatly yet there is water there is light

There is no deprivation in my world

Some of these items are 10, 15 years old

and I don’t part with them because I truly still see the shining spark
