like, im going to disagree with you, but sure let’s say you’re right.

that doesn’t mean she couldn’t be doing fundraisers, doing events, organizing people who ARE going to vote to ensure they have resources, ensure they vote down the ballot… I’ve paid to attend fundraising events with other politicians and biden, other celebrities and biden… like if people will pay $5 or whatever to see the queer eye guys have a conversation with joe biden and kamala harris then do you understand how much fucking money taylor could raise???! or hell, she could do it for local tennessee races, or important senate races like amy mcgrath to get mitch mcconnell out of the fucking senate.

“taylor swift won’t convince anyone who to vote for” so cool! but that does not excuse her silence. because she could be using her platform to do a million other things.

if taylor hosted some campaign event or even with a voting organization like all on the line or fair fight…. and she charged $1 or $5 entry fee….. like she would raise hundreds of thousands of dollars. so yes she could have a goddamn impact beyond simply convincing people who to vote for. this is what politics is about. it’s more than saying register to vote. it is so so so much more than that.

she could post resources on her socials. she could reshare resources on her socials. she could hand over her ig like selena did to activists or politicians or organizations (such as fair fight and all on the line). she could endorse campaigns she likes. she could add her name to fundraising emails. she could co-host a virtual fundraising event with a campaign or organization. she could talk about issues and policy she cares about. she could literally sit down virtually with any politician and have a conversation like halsey just did with bernie. she could help organize and encourage volunteers for campaigns and for election day polling locations. she could do the calling donors thing that warren and now biden are doing. she could make stamps to support the usps. she could do her own merch or whatever to get her fans to vote, profits could even partially go to campaigns or organizations. she could put ppl on her ig story who voted like she did in 2018. there are. so many things. she could be doing. “i want to do everything i can to help” ?????? i am so confused bc she isnt doing that rn and i dont fucking understand why.

my spicy take of the day is generic medication brands shouldnt exist. the name brand medications should be price capped every single time. I don’t care.

these name brand medications are not always identical to the generic and many of those inactive ingredients only present in name brand make a huge difference.
