While the cool water was supposed to be helping with the heat beating down on them, and it was in some ways, Pico’s fluster was leaving him feeling terribly hot despite those efforts. Getting hard off of seeing a close friend naked, of course he’d be a horny prick like that. At the very least, he’d wait until it went away on its own, or find someplace private to deal with it himself. No way was he going to ask Nene to help him out with it just because he got an eyeful of her. Sure, he was quite often casual about sex, but friends were different.

Pico’s brows furrowed slightly as the distance was closed between the two, Nene’s cool touch meeting his forehead past wetted red curls, and he slightly leant away from her hand. He was able to see even more of her form up close, worsening his issue, and promptly darted his gaze off to the side as a result, that flush on his cheeks only growing more obvious. ( Damnit, he needed to deal with it as soon as he could, forget waiting. )
“ You, uh— can back off now. ”
Seeing her friend's flustered face and him leaning away from her only gets an annoyed huff from her.
“Fucking stay still! How the hell can I check you over if you keep movin'?” She basically growls, getting more into his face insistently. She'd be damned if one of her boys was going to faint or some shit because they were stupid.

Mother hen mode had been activated from her friend's strange behaviour and with the hot, muggy weather she assumes it was the cause. Not that he had a hard on from seeing her bare form.
“That's bullshit and you know it. You're so painfully focussed on things to be this spacey. What's up with you?” Paranoid and painfully aware of his surroundings, yes, but not like this. Something was up, and she was determined to find out what it was.

For the few minutes that Nene seemed oblivious to his silence, Pico couldn’t bring himself to look away from her. Part of it had to be him frozen in nervousness, surely, it only now registering that he was showing his naked, fit body to a close friend, even if half of it was hard to see beneath the surface of the water. However, he knew that another part of that staring was arousal, he wasn’t clueless. It was with that confirmation that Nene looked his way, forcing some kind of response out of him as he looked away, lest he look even weirder by ignoring her question entirely for the sake of staring some more.
“ Uh, fuckin— zoned out, my bad. ”
Well, it wasn’t like Pico to behave so nervously, not unless he had something to hide. He did, of course, that being a hard on from seeing his friend in the nude. It was embarrassing, of course he’d want to hide it, right?
She had been enjoying the freshness and coolness of the water to notice him staring right away. The whole point why they went skinny-dipping in the first place. Sure it might be a risqué doing so with a friend rather than a lover or alone, but it didn't seem that bad of an idea before the fact. And sure, it was with someone hot, but that shouldn't matter, right?
She wasn't blind, she knew he was hot. He had seen his chest before, and she has admired his form before in secret.
She frowns, waddling closer to rest the back of her hand against his forehead. “You better not have gotten heatstroke or some shit.” She mumbles, taking in his flushed state with concern. They may not always seem like it, but she does care about him a lot.
“Go and fucking get a drink before you faint or some shit.”

It had been such a stifling week, the heat just kept getting worse as well as no breeze to offer temporally relief for the scorching head. The idea of skinny-dipping was thrown into the hat, but she couldn't remember who had come up with it. It didn't matter, as she was more than eager to comply.
