[Oh what a cute blush] Ah! Yes yes, my mistake--- well, if you need a wingwoman sometime, Marianne is here for you! Hmmm, Yes. Checking out the scene sounds like a lovely idea either way-- I am interested in the social life of these parts.

Well, youngest until Alfred. Barely snuck past the legal age, that one did. [Chuckles, trying and failing to fix a stubborn flick of her hair.] I spend the majority of my time with rather, lurid cases with bloody details. More interesting than something like patents, that much is certain. I think I’d die if I had to do that. [Nods, tugging Marianne towards the big kitchen.] We have these, kitchenettes. Good for making a meal or something of the like, but if you want to make a four-course dinner for five, it’s best to go down here. [Waves her free hand at the kitchen].
A good deal of surprises, yes.
My goodness, everyone seems to live such interest lives so far! [She muses as she’s tugged along, taking a moment to take everything in before smiling to her companion] You must tell me more about what you do sometime--- perhaps we can put this kitchen to use and I will make you something lovely to eat while we get to know each other? [Is she flirting? Maybe. It might just be Marianne though. Good luck telling.]

That will not run me off! I always enjoy a wild night out--- though it is certainly harder to come across women in gay bars! I must say, I make a rather good wingwoman, either way!

One of the youngest elected officials this damn state has ever seen. [She tilts her chin, and looks so incredibly proud of herself.] Constituents are about as raw and real as people get, so, I can handle them. It’s actors that are much more difficult, I find. [She keeps her arm out, easy enough to hook with if desired.] Mm, it is designed to. But, the kitchen is here, for bigger projects. I recommend using your own kitchen as much as you are able.
Oh my! Such accomplishments! [Rock that proud look girl yasss] I feel as though I would personally be the opposite--- but then again I also find most politics and law to be boring. [Marianne will do just that if offered, taking the offered arm and linking them together by the arms with a pleased expression.] ‘You own kitchen’? We get our own? How lovely! I suppose I can expect many little secrets, hmm?

Law and politics is my entire line of work! It’s quite satisfying despite the heavy hands. Besides, I’m glad I got out of acting, it was turning my hair grey. [She laughs, twirling a few fingers into her own hair, still dark as can be. Though, she notices how close the other is, and sizes her up briefly.] It will do nicely for us, I believe. Come on now, we’ll start with the ground floor.
Well well! Personally, law and politics were never my thing. Cheers to you for that--- but really? Such an odd yet drastic change! Now how was that giving you greys but not politics? [A pause, Marianne covers her mouth for a moment, keeping the space between them short] Ah, I am asking too many personal questions, am I not? I do not want to overstep my boundaries! [Yes she does.] Ground floor. Yes... Do you think a living situation like this may work?
[watching the sun set, leather jacket slung across the legion steps next to him] [sun glasses on to hide the bags under his eyes]
[inhales from his cigarette]
…time t’hit up the bars. See what the night life is like here. [smoke rolls out as he speaks, drifting to the sky]
[Suddenly, a wild Marianne]
Pardon me--- did you say you were going to inspect the night life? [That means party, and this lady likes the sound of that. No need for introductions] Would you like some company perhaps?

Politics, dear. It’s a bit of a bitch, don’t you think? [There’s a wink. Though, Anneliese can work herself to the bone on these things.] Well, there’s the simple things. This is Legion. A sort of, master gathering of oddly abled individuals such as you or I. [Raises an eyebrow.] Friend, eh? Well, I suppose I can show you were the kitchen and sort are. Come on now.
I tend to stay out of the heavy handed topics like politics--- is that the right use of that phrase? Hmm. [There’s a playful smile on her own face, closing the space between them almost to an uncomfortable extent. Personal space, Marianne.] Perfect! It seems quite... Interesting. As nice as this place looks--- I could perhaps get used to it. Do show me around, yes. [She is here and ready to follow.]

Covering my current cases plus the members of this manor? It’s damn near a nightmare. [She drops her smile soon enough, tugging her hand through her hair until it looks a bit more reasonable.] Mm, I can if you want. I was intending to just drop by and say hello, but if you’d like a rundown, I suppose I can provide such for you.
My word, you sound like you have a busy life. [Says a woman who likes to live her life blissfully in relaxation.] I would be absolutely disappointed if I did not get a run down! Please. [BATS HER LASHES] As my first friend here, I would adore a tour.

It’s a relief, quite honestly. The volume of work was starting to put me in a bit of a tizzy. [She laughs at that, taking the hand firmly in her own and shaking. Her smile is fit for a politician.] Anneliese, it’s a pleasure, Marianne. I’m glad to welcome you.
Oh? Work that much of a chore? I have to say, I am quite interested in seeing ow things run around here--- I have never quite lived with... Other people like this. [Marianne quirks a brow when she can take her hand back bringing it close to her face and smiling] Lovely to meet you, Anneliese. Shall I assume you will be giving me the details about this place?
You're the newest one, aren't you? I heard we were getting somebody a few days later than the rest.
I enjoy being... Fashionably late. [She smiles, having placed her things down and not so subtly looking the brunette in front of her before holding out a gloved hand.] I must admit, I was a bit... Unsure about coming--- but this place seems to be... Quite a lovely one... Marianne.
