She will no doubt do well, her acting was fantastic in The Chinese Widow.
While I know of her, I admit that I haven’t seen her movies. What all has she been in? Refresh me.

“Who would sneak into your room just to steal an iron? The laundromat probably has at least two-dozen!”
“Erm.” She makes a face like she’s unsure of how to respond tot he other. “I mean a flat iron, for hair, not whatever is loitering around in the laundry room.”
pinnacleheart:
My goodness, everyone seems to live such interest lives so far! [She muses as she’s tugged along, taking a moment to take everything in before smiling to her companion] You must tell me more about what you do sometime— perhaps we can put this kitchen to use and I will make you something lovely to eat while we get to know each other? [Is she flirting? Maybe. It might just be Marianne though. Good luck telling.]
Everyone certainly keeps busy. I don’t think that anyone here doesn’t do something of interest with their life. It’s quite a fascinating thing. [She laughs at that, waving her free hand.] I’m sure I can, there are plenty of stories to tell. [Her voice is quiet, even a bit playful as the other speaks.] Mm, what do you have in mind?
Hey, uh, you look. Kinda familiar? Have I seen you before?
Hm? [ She glances up from where she was trying to reach a book that is most definitely not where she is able to reach it. ]
… Have you gone to court for a major crime, lately?
brainhum:
It’s okay it’s fine I’m fine.
[he’s still attempting to (with little success) hide a row of washers] [he’s too tall though] [he ends up crouching behind until only his eyes poke out over the top of the washer like a weirdo]
[She ends up throwing an abandoned towel at the poor man, before gently releasing the shirt to the confines of the sink.]
Still! I shouldn’t have done that, it wasn’t okay for me to do-- are you sure it’s all fine? If it’s not I can find some way to make it up to you.
Hey, uh, you look. Kinda familiar? Have I seen you before?
Hm? [ She glances up from where she was trying to reach a book that is most definitely not where she is able to reach it. ]

brainhum:
[well that was] [unexpected] [he goes ahead and covers his impressive rack with his arms, blushing furiously and trying very hard to hide behind some of the washers]
That’s– okay then. This is fine.
[it was not fine]
[While she’s used to shirtless castmates and wily defendants, this is still a bit different, and enough to make her sputter.]
I-I’m so sorry. I wasn’t thinking. Let me ah- [And she’s running off to find a towel.]
Hey, uh, you look. Kinda familiar? Have I seen you before?

brainhum:
[he can tell she’s not convinced so he Panics]
Oh! Oh, okay so you just–
[he haphazardly grabs some bleach from one of the shelves that holds all the laundry chemicals] [and spills it all over the front of his shirt by accident] [good job]
Fuck.
[Holy shit is this guy okay.]
Ack! That’s, oh my gosh that’s a lot- [She promptly removes Santiago from his shirt with little difficulty, throwing it in the sink.]
“Has anyone seen my flat iron? It’s gone missing.”
wutonji:
I’ve met Liu Yifei and she’s going to obliterate any doubts with her acting skills—
I’ve heard good things about her. I hope everything in the production lives up to expectations.

“At least she figured it out!” Yekaterina exclaimed, unduly pleased about the resolution. “Is your other other sister still doing theatre? It sounds so exciting. I always wanted a sibling, you know, but alas,” she waved her free hand in a vague gesture, then bumped hips with Anneliese when she cut herself off. “It’s good to talk about these things! I don’t mind if you ramble.”
“Ooh, do you like movies then? Do you go to places then?” America was just so large, maybe Anneliese would have some recommendations! “That’s fine, video games aren’t for everybody! Though if you ever want to try something, feel free to find me!”
“Oh, yes! I’m very happy for her.” Anneliese paused, nodding soon after. “She’s in New York right now, Broadway. I’d have to double check the name of the show, though. I’ll admit though, triplets is a bit painful, but I enjoy having them with me nevertheless.” A small grunt fell from her lips when she was bumped, Anneliese letting out a small laugh. “Are you sure? Thank you.”
“Mm, there’s a theater in town, but I keep a decent stash at home. Too crowded in the theaters, if I’m honest.”
Hey, uh, you look. Kinda familiar? Have I seen you before?
Hm? [ She glances up from where she was trying to reach a book that is most definitely not where she is able to reach it. ]

brainhum:
I knew that!
[he did not know that] [to be honest, he wasn’t actually sure what prewashing was, let alone that there were actual washers for that]
… What’s prewashing?
[Her face suggests that she is not convinced.]
Alright, alright, I’ll believe you! And uh, prewashing is when you pre-treat a particularly stained garment prior to putting it in the wash. Works well for coffee spills. [Or alcohol.]
Hey, uh, you look. Kinda familiar? Have I seen you before?
Hm? [ She glances up from where she was trying to reach a book that is most definitely not where she is able to reach it. ]

brainhum:
Pffft of– of course I know how to use these! You just…. Open the–
[wait there were two doors??? they were one of those washers???] [the fuck] [he gingerly opens the door on top and looks inside]
–the top? Door? And throw your laundry in and then you just… you know.
[he is not doing well at demonstrating his knowledge of laundry appliances]
Darling. [She’s somewhat thankful her curious self-learned how to use a washing machine, and comes over, lightly bumping Santiago with her hip to move him out of the way.]
This is for prewashing. You just it like any other front loader.

“Well, I mean someone has to deal with the handsome men,” Sadık teased, “and I suppose it must be you. I’m sure it’s a very trying experience. Someone has to do it.” Her smile was very pretty, or at least her eyes were when she smiled, even if her hand was blocking most of it. “Don’t cover your laugh, it’s very pretty,” he said immediately. “Huh. Now that I think about it, Mom having six kids but never more than one at a time almost seems weird. At least I can always tell my sisters apart.” Most of the time.
“Well, you’re two for two already,” Sadık praised, watching her measure out ingredients. He didn’t make bread frequently, and he watched the process with fascination. But he did notice how her cheeks had pinked. Adorable. “I think the pleasure is mine.”
“I’m sure there are plenty willing to take the plunge.” A bit cheeky, Anneliese grinned, deftly cracking an egg into a bowl, inspecting it with a careful eye before it was added to the wet ingredients. The other was quite sweet, at least in her opinion, layering on kindness that she found endearing. “It’s a habit, I’m sorry to say. The, demure aesthetic, so to say.” A shrug of the shoulders, before Anneliese glanced back to eye Sadık. “It’s difficult at times, I mean, I’ve always wanted children, so I’m glad I got out of acting. My poor, poor mother.”
Eventually, she was incorporating flour, stretching the dough in her hands. “Ah, you’re quite sweet, did you realize? I quite like it.”
conjuringkatya:
“That’s really good, then. I’ve had a few friends that got jobs that paid well, but they were absolutely miserable doing it.” One of her friends had gone into social work, and it had just about broken Yekaterina’s heart to watch her burn out.
“Oh, yes!” Yekaterina said, much too enthusiastically, and she blushed. “Especially the surreal sort of stuff, it’s just so much fun!” Well, fun was one way of putting it. She loved being scared. “I really like playing horror games as well, it makes it so much more immersive.”
“Oh! I had that happen to my sister. She was working with my other sister doing theater, and then, suddenly, she just seemed so sad, poor dear. It turned out that staying home and being a, housewife so to say, it was much better for her mental health. I’m just glad she’s happy.” Realizing she was rambling a bit, Anneliese flushed briefly, waving a hand. “No matter.”
While she enjoyed thrillers, and was herself, a real-life horror, Anneliese didn’t see the appeal of lingering in haunted houses. “I, get my fill for that sort of thing elsewhere. Though, I’ll have to be honest and say that I’ve never really been a video game person.”
Hey, uh, you look. Kinda familiar? Have I seen you before?

tubrainhum:
[Oh dang] [oh dang!! oh no!!! she’s cute!!!!] [what do!!!!!?]
Well– uh– that’s good! Be kind of a bummer if I had to pay t’do my laundry in my own house– uh, not my house but. You know what I mean.
[he drums his fingers against the top of one of the washing machines and laments the fact that he has no idea how any of them work] [this is not the type of washer he is used to] [laundry gods have mercy on his soul]
[She leans against the side of one of the washing machines, blinking slowly, much like a sleepy cat.]
It’d be a terrible shame, I think. As long as you don’t break anything in here, I doubt that you’ll ever have to pay. I’m, assuming that you know how to do laundry? The machines are a bit high tech, but nothing one can’t work out with some time.
Hey, uh, you look. Kinda familiar? Have I seen you before?

brainhum:
[he never thought of it that way] [huh] [wild] [at least he had some kind of semi-smooth recovery to fall back on] [and now he knows where the laundry room is; win-win]
Do I need coins to use the laundry room or…?
Ah, no no! [She grins, turning to look at the other over her shoulder.] [Her smile is a bit brighter, a bit more lively.]
Since you live here, you have absolute access. It’s quite nice, I’ve found. Though I’d suggest babysitting your articles, or they may be pilfered. Just provide your own detergent, and this place is all your’s. [Down a hall, and she’s leading the other to a modest laundry room.]
These are good for heavy duty materials. There are lighter machines in your rooms.

brainhum:
Autographs are dumb anyways. It’s a piece of paper with someone’s name on it – what is so special about it?
[shit] [uh] [quick, Santi, think of something]
Uhm– do you…. know where….. the laundry room is?
[smooth recovery]
Sentimental value, I do suppose. I’ve had some odder things I’ve signed, but I like pictures and just little, tokens. [A gentle smile follows.]
Oh! I can show you that easily. It’s downstairs, follow me?
