“Of course I do. I miss my mom, and my house, and my room, and my friends from home. It’s so different, here. I still like camp! But... yeah. This isn’t my home.”

💌- Do you send letters to home while you’re away at camp?

“All the time! I write home once a week. My mom... replies when she can. She’s really busy but her replies are always really long and she sends me stuff from home! She even sent me a replacement eyepatch when my old one started to break- my mom is the best. And my friends from home write too!”

Mack runs up to Teddy out of the blue, waving her arms like she thought Teddy wouldn’t notice her otherwise. Once she gets close, she pauses for a moment to catch her breath, before blurting our “Teddy! Teddy, do you like pirates? I meant to ask you before but I just got here and there were so many people that I totally forgot and I heard-“ and here she pauses, doubled over to take another breath, “I heard you did!” Mack’s bright smile is hopeful and a little bit goofy, too.

How could Teddy not notice Mack? She’s waving her hands and causing a ruckus. Once they hear her question, though, they kneel down to eye level, rubbing the back of their neck.

“Uh…Kinda? Sorta?”

Hold on there, Teds–this might be a chance to score brownie points. Better think over what you say next, and carefully.

“Actually, I am a pirate!”

Mack gasps, absolutely delighted at this turn in events. It’s clear she wasn’t expecting Teddy to say that, but her eyes are lit up like a Christmas tree and she seems newly envigorated, despite her exhaustion a moment before.

“Oh my gosh, really? I’ve never met a real life pirate before! That’s so cool!”

She seems... almost lost for words for a moment, grasping for questions she can’t quite reach in her excitement. She takes a deep breath and seems to figure out what she was looking for.

“Can you teach me to be a pirate? It’s just that I’ve wanted to be one for so long and pirates are so awesome and I know I’ve done pirate stuff and played pretend but I wanna know how to be a pirate for real! ...Please?” She tacks on, giving Teddy a grin full of hope and a bit of awe.

Footsteps patter beind you, slowing down slightly before you feel a tug on the hem of your shirt. You turn around to face the newcomer, and oh, it’s a new camper!

“Hi!” She says, smiling widely, unabashed. “I know I saw you when I got off the bus, but I didn’t get to meet everyone properly. I’m Mack!”

She sticks out a hand, for a handshake or maybe a high five.

(You can’t help but notice that two of her fingers have band-aids wrapped around them, and there’s another on her wrist, since her hand is pointed right in your face, and all.)

Rules & Blog Info

Hi everyone! This blog is a camp camp ask / rp blog for my camper oc, Mack. Here I’m going to be setting up a few rules for the blog, as well as information on my character.

MACK:

-She’s a 9 year old girl, and a camper at Camp Campbell.

-Really, really likes pirates!

-Very friendly and open with people- she’s extroverted and will try to make friends as much as possible!

-Has a chipmunk, named Berry. Feel free to interact with him too!

RP RULES:

>>Mostly non-selective, if you interact and don’t break any of the rules I’ll interact back!

>>No godmodding or controlling my character (without asking first). Self explanatory.

>>Doubles are fine, and so are supernatural / nonhuman characters! I’d be glad to interact with multiples of the same character, as well as anything else you guys come up with.

>>Please ASK FIRST if you want to do something major / important involving my character. (Including physically or mentally changing my character, violence, possession, majorly changing their relationship, etc etc)

>>No romantic / sexual content with Mack, ever, at all. She’s 9.

>>If planning on starting a reply thread / chain, please try to give me something to work with every reply, and I’ll do the same for you!

OOC RULES:

>>No pedophilic or illicit relationships, including but not limited to counselor x camper.

>>Please don’t repost my icons / art or use my character or writing for anything without my explicit permission!

>>No matter what your character is like, please be polite OOC. :)
