GUIDELINES
Thank you very much for being here — It means a lot to me that you’re taking your time to read through my guidelines before you consider interacting with me. I MIGHT sound a bit harsh in these but really, I’m just trying to be straight forward and I hope that that won’t scare you away!
But before you do read my guidelines, there are just some things you need to keep in mind about me, the mun.
FIRST OFF, I am in fact suffering from a severe depression and has been for a couple of years now that I’m currently being treated for. Some days, I will be in an incredibly dark place when I feel like the loneliest person on earth and I feel like nobody cares about me, while other days I’m actually feeling pretty good/decent. It’s an emotional rollercoaster, and I’m sure a lot of you might even relate and/or feel the same way as I do sometimes. My point is, this may affect my muse for writing — sometimes, I will be INCREDIBLY quick with responses, and sometimes it might take me up to 2 months to respond to longer threads. More about activity and speed on replies can be found further into my rules. And also, this effects how fast I am at responding to OOC messages. I WILL go quiet during darker times but I can ASSURE YOU that it has nothing to do with you personally.
SECONDLY, no, I have not read the Black Butler/Kuroshitsuji manga. Which means, that up until I do ( or up until I learn about certain events or something similar that are manga-exclusive ), my portrayal of Sebastian is purely anime based (with some influences from Kuromyu). This means that you CANNOT expect me to know what happens in the manga, and if you refer to manga events in a thread of ours, I will ignore it if I can. If your Black Butler/Kuroshitsuji muse IS manga based however ( or if your muse is manga-exclusive), then I suggest that we talk OOC to do some plotting before we thread together so we both know what the other knows/don’t know. I don't mind spoilers though, so if you think it's important for me to know certain manga-related things, then go right ahead and tell me. I'm aware of some bigger plot twists already and I know bits and pieces that are manga exclusive, so if you are unsure of what I know, feel free to ask!
And with that being said, again, thank you for taking your time to read my guidelines!
General Rules
ACTIVITY — As already mentioned earlier, some days I write a lot and some days I don’t. However, I do tend to be around more and do more writing on the weekends rather than the weekdays, mostly because I have other hobbies and such that I want to spend my time on. Therefore, threads on the dash might go a bit slow sometimes, which is why I tend to prefer threads on discord instead because I don’t have to worry about formatting or icons at all. Plus, I can reply while I’m on my phone, even on the weekdays. So if you wanna exchange tags, feel free to ask me. Keep in mind however that even though I might be quicker there, I still might take my time to respond depending on my muse.
NO GODMODDING — It should go without saying that I control my muse, and you control yours. If you feel the need to do some goddmidding, just talk to me first and I shall (maybe) grant you permission. Don’t kill any of them, but you’re free to use violence.~
DON’T STEAL MY CONTENT — This includes content such as art, edits, blog graphics, headcanons, and other stuff that I have created myself.
TUMBLR IM’S… — … are for OOC convos only. I will NOT do IC interactions there.
DRAMA — I’m not one to either start or take part in any fandom/OOC drama ever (the last time I was even CLOSE to be a part of anything wasn’t even considered drama at all, and that was back in 2012 so I would like to keep that record clean). I would much rather just stay on the sidelines as an outsider looking in. I DO NOT like the callout culture, unless if it’s about something INCREDIBLY serious. And I’m not talking about someone using FC’s for a character that you consider racist, or if someone is writing dark themes you find triggering on their blog without tagging their posts, because I have the mentality of “don’t like, don’t read, block”. I’m talking about people who are TOXIC - that are KNOWN for treating their fellow rp partners and others incredibly poorly one way or another. You see me interacting with someone that is ALLEGEDLY ‘toxic’? By all means, feel free to tell me all you want (in fact, I actually appreciate it) but you must also know that you can’t expect me to side with anyone - especially not if I’m an outsider. Long story short, I’m think like this; I’m kind to whomever is kind to me. And those who aren’t kind to me and shows themselves to be toxic towards me? I do not wish to be associated with those kind of people, because I want to recover from my depression WITHOUT having toxic people in my life that constantly makes me feel worse, thank you.
Highly Selective
MUTUALS ONLY — I will only write with others whom I follow that also follows me.
PERSONALS — Don’t follow me, please. And don’t reblog my stuff. Likes are fine as long as you don’t spam, but that’s about it.
FOLLOWING/FOLLOWING BACK — I will be very picky with who I follow in the first place — when I follow someone, I mainly go by their writing style. Do they write purple prose? If so, I do not follow. Do they not trim their posts? No follow from me. Do they not use icons or format their posts? I will absolutely follow them because despite the fact that I love my own aesthetics, I do not expect others to have them in order to write with me. As long as I believe that our writing styles might match and if I’m interested in their muse, I have no reason to NOT follow them. If you followed me first, it might take me a couple of days to follow you back.
UNFOLLOWING — I very rarely unfollow anyone, but when/if I do, I use the soft-block feature, and I would appreciate it if you would do the same if we’re mutuals and you decide you don’t want to see me on your dash anymore. If I unfollow you however, it will be because of one of these reasons;
You’re SPREADING hate/drama/vague/harassment/negativity about someone else.
You’ve been inactive for a month or more.
Too many ooc posts that aren’t related to your fandom or RPing (I generally don’t mind them, since it gives me a picture of exactly who is behind the muse, but if your blog contains more ooc posts than actual roleplay? No thanks).
I’m treated as a reference/source.
If we haven’t interacted at all/very little since we followed each other, and it’s most likely that we never will - I want to keep my dash as clean as possible for people I actually interact with. If I do unfollow you and you suspect that this might be the reason, feel free to hit me up if you wish to interact.
BLOCKING — If I ever block you, then something must be INCREDIBLY wrong in my eyes. Blocking someone, for me, is the same as saying ‘I never ever wish to see or speak to you ever again’. And if I DO block you, I DO NOT want you to go undercover or anything of the sort, just to get a chance to talk or write with me. I WILL find out. That being said, if YOU ever feel the need to block me, then go ahead. Yes, I will most likely be a bit confused and sad if it comes out of nowhere, but I would never stoop so low as to catfish you into think I’m someone else just so I could speak to you. Let’s just be respectful on this, alright?
CROSSOVERS AND OC’S — I’m 100% crossover-friendly. I love interacting with people from other fandoms! However, I will most likely only follow muses of fandoms I’m familiar with. When it comes to OC’s…. I tend to be incredibly picky with OC’s. I’m generally not interested unless your OC has a verse that is related to any of my muses’ fandoms. But please, no made-up relatives or any of the sort. It’s not my thing.
DUPLICATES — I will be VERY selective and careful with following duplicates of some of my muses. I feel very insecure about my own portrayal as it is and seeing others of the same muse on my dash might damage it more. Unless you’re a friend of mine, if you write any of the following characters, then please, do not follow me; Grell Sutcliff.
Writing
English isn’t my first language, so grammatical mistakes are bound to happen now and then.
Open starters are open to anyone, provided we’re mutuals.
Starter calls are limited to mutuals. If you’re a multimuse, please let me know who you want the starter to be for. Otherwise your like WILL be ignored.
Memes/asks are also limited to mutuals only. Tag me in a new post if you want to continue from an ask. You’re allowed to send as many as you like!

Lengths does not need to match, but they need to be similar to each other - or AT LEAST provide with enough content for me to work with.
I have the right to drop a thread if I can’t find myself replying to it for whatever reason. I also have the right to ignore your like on a starter call if I so wish and I don’t have to always reply to any asks/memes you have sent to me. I just simply don’t always know HOW to respond. So don’t take this as a way of me not wanting to interact. We’re mutuals for a reason, after all!
Sometimes, I will play favorites and respond to threads I have the most muse for. This may include non-mains sometimes as well (but as I mentioned earlier, it’s a 8/10 chance that it will be a main).
I do not write purple prose, and I do tend to avoiding writing with people who does write purple prose. It’s nothing personal against you, I just have a REALLY hard time understanding the content and context when it’s written in purple prose.
I will NOT write with any muses that claim to be related to my muse. No made-up siblings, cousins, ex’s, etc. It’s just not my thing.
Shipping & Nsfw
Let’s be real here; if you didn’t just click on my guidelines and scrolled down to this section right away, then you’re lying to yourself. In case you didn’t just do that however, congrats, you’re a decent human being who actually took your time to read through my guidelines before interacting with me c’: All jokes aside though, here are the rules for shipping;
It is important to know that while I’m a shipper at heart, it will most likely be a bit of a journey to ship with any of my muses. Which leads me to the next point…
I mostly do slow-burns because it’s more enjoyable for me to develop a relationship from start since that is usually how you see if the characters has chemistry to begin with.
Just because I’m shipping with someone that has the same muse as you do, does not automatically mean that I will ship with yours.
If I’m uncomfortable with something, I have the right to say “No, thanks”.
I would NEVER push my muse onto yours; some of my muses has the habit of flirting and that DOES NOT equal me forcing a ship.
And of course, it’s not only romantic ships that needs chemistry — so does platonic ships as well.
I mutli-ship, which means that I CAN and WILL ship with more than one muse at the time. But they will all be set in separate verses so no cheating on someone else’s muse will occur.
I don’t really tend to let people know if I ship something. I’m usually approached FIRST just because I’m VERY shy about doing it myself. But if I do notice that there’s hella chemistry, I might hit you up. But honestly, the chances of shipping with me are higher if you approach ME first after we’ve already interacted some. Because if you ship it? Chances are I ship it too! However, don’t take it the wrong way if I do decline your offer. It might be because of various reasons such as I don’t feel like there’s chemistry, or I just don’t ship our muses in general.
Sometimes chemistry can come out from a thread without any kind of plotting. If you think there’s chemistry and wish to ship our muses, so again, feel free to ask me!
If I post a shipping-call, make sure that we’ve either interacted IC or OOC before you respond to it. I don’t ship with random people normally, and the chances of that happening with certain of my muses (AKA Claude Faustus) are even more slim. If you are unsure if you can respond to it or not, just try and think of if we’ve interacted at least twice solid times before. But like I have already said, don’t take it the wrong way if I do decline.
As for NSFW… The ONLY TIME I will actually write anything smut related is when it’s ship-related. I must feel comfortable enough to write it, and I only am comfortable when I do it for a ship when it’s with a partner I feel comfortable with.
ALL smut-related threads must take place in a private chat. I’m not comfortable with spreading that shit out on the dash for everybody to see. So I suggest that we take that to a private discord-server as the tumblr IM’s are only for OOC conversations.
It should go without saying that while I, the mun, am over the age of 20, as well as MOST of my muses, I will not be writing anything smut related with anyone under the age of 20 as well.
When I say ‘most of my muses’, I mean that ALL of my muses with the exception of Ciel Phantomhive, Alois Trancy, and Elizabeth Midford (and any other minor muse I might add in the future) are of age and may partake in NSFW activities. It goes without saying that I will NOT WRITE NSFW stuff involving any muses while they are under the age of 18. I DO NOT feel comfortable with writing it.
Triggers
Given the fandoms some of my muses comes from, you shouldn’t be surprised to see dark themes being present on this blog. And if you’ve made it this far in my rules, you are most likely still a bit interested in maybe interacting with me. I would like to avoid tagging anything that might be triggering as it is not up to ME to make sure that YOUR presence on tumblr is safe. It is YOUR responsibility to decide whether or not you follow me. HOWEVEEEEEEEEER, I there are some things I always tag by default, and that is; flashing gifs/images, HEAVY blood/gore, self harm, rape and suicide. If there is anything out of the ordinary that you wish for me to tag, make sure that you have that stated in your rules so I can see it and I will try my best and tag it for you. And please, don’t be rude to me if I don’t tag something accordingly. It’s only HUMAN to forget, and when you yourself don’t find most things triggering, it might be difficult for me to realize that something that I posted was considered as ‘triggering content’. Which leads me to the last, and final part…
Personally, I don’t have any triggers except any images that may trigger my trypophobia. But I very rarely stumble across anything that triggers it on tumblr, so I think it’s safe to say that you don’t have to tag it for me. But I still felt like putting it out there IN CASE you do want to tag your posts, but I honestly won’t jump at you if you don’t. Because it’s not YOUR responsiblity to make sure that MY time on tumblr is safe.

yeah, you can find them like this down below. sadly i don’t have an mobile page for my guidelines yet since i haven’t updated that one in a few months. but the rules you find via the popup is up to date! just click the right heart ( the original theme had a different symbol there that was difficult to spot, so i switched them out to hearts so it would be easier to find) and then ‘rules’.
