I made a dress
Sweeping up first place, life can be normal if you sacrifice some time to stop the spread.
Pandemic fun
Got the fam sorted for crowds
Stopping the spread of rona, not life.
Chocolate cream pie
A work colleague asked if I could make lemon meringue pie after I took along my butterscotch pie. My first attempt collided with an ignored oven rack that sat at the highest level. So when I made my second attempt I was one step ahead and removed the offending rack.
The fam enjoyed attempt number one, but, I’m pretty sure they are going to love the chocolate cream pie I have made for them. Photo will follow once it has chilled enough to be topped with the whipped cream and chocolate shavings stay tuned!
My meringue had a bit of a collision with an oven rack as I was taking it out to cool.
Turns out that the fam actually like lemon meringue pie more than butterscotch pie 🤷♀️
The magic of sourdough
Because Day six was spent in a queue waiting to buy groceries I decided to increase the pace on day seven to make up for it.
I’ve made some little origami bags to make a little easter surprise for the boys.
It’s a bit late, but, here it finally is Day 5’s creation completed collaboratively with daughter and grandson.
Decorating sugar cookies on Christmas Eve to give the boys a quiet activity before bed.
I made scones the Cornish way for our work lunch - that’s right I put the cream on top of the jam
