“Well…”, Tilda looked around the shop as she fished for an answer. She wasn’t the kind of woman that was good at baking nor had any idea about it. Hence her being here. But it was the first birthday party since… since they started to be a family again. So why not try to find something right? “I am a little unprepared for so many questions, but since you are the specialist here: Do you have any cake that basically screams hangry and moody teenage boy?”
It was better to suit a cake to the client now that Coryn knew a bit more information. Lifting her finger in a ‘wait’ motion, she drew out her business tablet and swiped along pictures of her past bakes. “Cherry can feel more grown-up than strawberry, especially if we add a little kirsch. Not too much. I won’t go mad on decoration, but more of flavour.”
