How could you NOT fall in love with the glow of the moon and stars, the warmth of the sun, the ancient life within the trees, and the sweet melodies of the winds?
I love the fact that I can make people happy, in any form. Even if it’s just an hour of their lives, if I can make them feel lucky or make them feel good, or bring a smile to a sour face, that to me is worthwhile.
Freddie Mercury (via thequotejournals)
She did not need much, wanted very little. A kind word, sincerity, fresh air, clean water, a garden, kisses, books to read, sheltering arms, a cozy bed, and to love and be loved in return.

honestly if you’ve been kind to me (even just for once), im 102% sure i will appreciate and remember your goodness forever
They called her naive for believing in the good in people. But she was just a loving soul, who thought that even monsters needed someone, who truly believed, they were angels once and they can be it again. And yes, maybe that was naive, but this world needed people like her.

PACO HELD UP THE PANTS, SAFETY PINS STICKING OUT OF HIS MOUTH LIKE PORCUPINE QUILLS AS HE SIZED UP PIPPA. “Com’ere,” he command, holding the pants at about waist length. Paco’s apartment was a cross between a grandma’s house and a tacqueria. Everything was dialed up to maximum comfort, nothing matched, and it all looked third or fourth hand. Also there was a light heat in the air, fans turned at full blast in multiple points of the room, and there was a scent of sizzled meat, onions, and adobo that could not be avoided. Paco had Pippa in his apartment to take in a pair of pants. He was turning them into something more summery so she could maybe wear them to the fair, the beach, or the boardwalk. He was trying to also give them a little structure, so they looked good when she walked. Fashion was never simple. “I need to see if the length is right, put these on.” He commanded again. Paco was not much of a “leader” in the outside world, but Pippa was in his home, with his only area of expertise, and she was his Pippa. He could be assertive with the daffodil of a girl if need be. She wouldn’t, couldn’t, get mad at him for it anyway. It wasn’t her nature.
Pippa loved Paco’s apartment. It was so very Paco, and it made her feel more at ease, more at home, than nearly any of her friends’ houses did. She especially liked to see Paco in his home, where he truly seemed to be in his element. It only seemed right, therefore, to ask for his help in re-tailoring this lovely dress into an even lovelier dress for the fair -- and with her friend’s fingerprints in the stitches, how could it be anything less than the loveliest dress she owned?
“Yes, sir,” she said, taking the dress with a bright smile. Once she had the dress on, she gave a twirl, enjoying the way it moved as she did. “It’s wonderful, Paco. You’ve done a perfect job.”
