It’s Bouncy-Boy McCoy! Finally got around to finishing this bouncy boy! You might have seen him in my Instagram stories before, sharing my animation progress for this little by little, but if not, I’ve compiled all the recorded/pictured process of animating this guy in a new story highlights thing shown in my Instagram profile.

He’s been a con/events companion for a long while, to entertain myself when things would get slow. I animated him in Procreate, since I was curious to try its animation tools for the longest time and gotta say, it’s a pretty neat app to animate on! A little inconvenient with certain things, but it’s as good as it can be for a tablet-based drawing/animating app. Animating on a Cintiq and with the right desktop program is way better of course, but for mobility sake, Procreate is pretty cool! I also used Procreate Dreams for compositing and extra editing. I love that you can drag and drop from Procreate into Dreams with ease! Dreams is a bit more inconvenient to use for animating compared to Procreate, but it’s still not that bad. Anyway, wanted to kind of share my experience with those apps. I do recommend you give them a shot, if you’re able to!

Patreon coming in 2026! That is to say, it’s coming this year…Really!

Had meant to make this announcement before 2025 ended, but couldn’t squeeze in the time amidst the holiday season.

Wanted to say sorry for the mega delay of my Patreon. I had announced in June that it was for sure going to launch some time in the year, but so many things unexpectedly came up, like projects I wanted to get done, comic/art events I attended, general life occurrences, that I decided to put the Patreon on hold. Plus, I’m currently going through a big transition for me, from having to rely on jobs to going a more independent route with my art (something I’ve been wanting to do since forever), so please bear with me as I go through this change, as I learn, organize and figure stuff out with my art and for myself 🙏 But I will absolutely make sure to myself that I’ll launch it this time around.

As I mentioned in my last post, thank you so, so much for your continued support. Truly means so much. Last year I’d say was a good year for me. I was able to create and share more of my own art and ideas, and I’d like to keep that momentum going within the new year, to be able to produce and show a lot more than last year, and I believe the Patreon will help solidify that more for me.

So yes, expect an update on that sometime soon!

New cartoon merch alert!🚨

Had designed new stickers, had made new Halloween pins (based on designs from a Halloween art show last year), and wanted to do a set of prints based on the dog dude that’s on the back of my business card (swipe for proof)! All of these I’m selling tomorrow at Feria de Cómics in Cuartel de Ballajá happening this weekend! Get ‘em while they’re hot! 😀
