Name change!
Callie's full name is Calisa Jane meaning that Callie and CJ from Wicked World are the same person! This is no longer an OC blog. Gracias lovelies x
"Why didn't you talk to me about Emma? I don't need a new step-mother, we're just fine on our own." Callie folded her arms. -Callie Hook (RP starter.)
Killian raised a brow as he looked back at his daughter. “I didn’t intend to make you think I was looking for a step-mother for you,” he stated, as he approached her. “We’ve only kissed once. But I like her and would like to see where that goes.”
“You don’t need her, you’ve got me.” She stood up. She was still ferociously loyal to her mother’s memory and didn’t limit the idea of her father being with anyone else.
“And I love you,” he replied with a soft smile. “Emma doesn’t intend to try to take your mothers place, just as much as I don’t intend to try to take Henry’s fathers,”
He knew Cassie loved her mother, and he did as well. But Milah was gone and though he couldn’t say he had been looking to find another love, he thought he may have found it. “I loved your mother and I always will. I didn’t look to find anyone else, it just happened. And no matter what happens with Emma and I. It will never change the way I felt about your mother.”
"I just don't want our family to change." She admitted. She was scared they'd be so happy together he wouldn't need his daughter anymore.
James was shocked to find his own bedroom door locked when he came in from a night in the tavern, he hadn't locked it going out and there was supposedly no one else in the house. - Callie Hook (pirate-princess101)
@pirate-princess101 “Well now that is interesting…” He jiggled the lock once, twice, maybe a third time. He was still a little under the influence of some nice rum he had pinched from… Well, it didn’t really matter who.He sighed, starring at the locked door for a moment before taking another drink and wiping his mouth. He started to make a movement to give the door a swift hard kick and break it down.“AHH… No, wait…” He shook his head pulling out a pocket knife (one of several on his person), pulling out the door hinge rods. As he finished he pushed the door open and looked around.“Honey, I’m home!”
@pirate-princess101 James snickered as he got up and poured himself a glass of wine. “Have you forgotten? Neverland makes one immortal, the rest of my days will be centuries for my choosing. And yours too unless your pan boy decides to give up immortality for the short life of love?” He put the glass to his lips taking a long drink. “I plan to dance and dally how I choose dear clever Callie, but it is very sweet of you to always be worrying of my welfare. Poor motherless bastard that I am. I am quite happy drinking and ‘dancing’ with whomever I choose. But never know, perhaps I’ll find a girl or boy or mermaid that strikes my fancy. Ha.” James winked at his sister taking another drink. “Has the lover snuck away through a window?”
“We….danced again.” She said for lack of a better word “then he had to make his way home but he promised to see me soon.” She explained. “His parents don’t know about me and dad doesn’t know about him and that’s how we’re going to keep it.”
“Well, probably for the best. The less I interact the better. Plausible deniability.” Jes had to laugh at the idea Callie and this pan boy would be able to keep this secret. “Well, good luck with that. Neither will here from me, but if you need me to kill him, just ask. I can hide him where he will never be found. This time it won’t be a chandelier either.” He giggled at his own joke before taking another drink.
“Are you going out again tonight?” Callie wasn’t as dumb as she believed she was, she could smell the rum on her brother and she knew how much he liked his alcohol and his women.
“why, do you still need my bed?” He arched an eyebrow at her curiously. “Eh, party was boring anyways. A night of drinking in will help. Unless you want me to leave so you can have some more boy bonding time.”
“He’s already left, and I don’t think you’d want to hear that.” She gave a small laugh. “Enough dancing for me tonight.”
“Nope. Not really.” James mused taking another drink. “Could I convince you forever? No? Oh well, worth a shot.” He snickered taking another drink and pouring some for her. “Eh, Dad and Henry won’t be home for hours… And your first time should be celebrated.” He sighed… “Man, what I wouldn’t give for those mermaids about now… Oh well. So Harry is shacking up with a sea witch whoo hoo… He is licking someone else’s boots besides dad’s. I always knew he would amount to something ” James let out a slight giggle
“I didn’t even know he and Uma were a thing, I thought he just followed her round like a lost puppy.” She laughed.
“Same thing. They probably aren’t. She could do better. ” James rolled his eyes. “Can’t count but yet he is first mate… Cheers. You just downgraded our legacy. Why be a captain when you can be a Smee? No offense to Mr. Smee of course… He is quite the intelligent fellow despite blind alligence to our father.”
“I wouldn’t know, Dad never takes me sailing or let’s me steer the ship.” She said casually filling up her glass with rum.
“Really? Well then…” James poured himself another glass of wine. “He’s an idiot. Guess I will have to take you out sailing… And let you steer. There is nothing ‘missing’ that makes you uncapable. Stupid rubbish. Do you know, that the MOST successful pirate EVER, was a woman? Sure, dad is notorious, but he is no Ching Shih.” He grinned. “She would probably make dad cry for his own mum. Ruthless, successful and amazing. Again, as I said, pirate girls are worth a dozen men at least. Ching Shih, was worth hundreds and hundreds of ‘em.’”
“Is there a reason he doesn’t like me much? Other than being a girl? What about mom?” She asked her brother.
“I don’t know honestly. He is an idiot if he doesn’t like you because you are a girl. Trust me. I am not privy to his thoughts. ” he paused like looking at her strangely. “Well… I always figured we had different mum’s…” James began, slightly confused although not discouraging the idea. “I mean mum, my mum was clearly Latino. Dad always told me she left because she lost her memory…. Even her memory of me. I always figured you and Henry were cut off a different branch? So to speak?”
"Dad has never told me much about my mother, just that she was some girl who begged him to take her to the next port." Callie took a swing of the rum again.

@pirate-princess101 James looked at her skeptically, but didn’t push it. She was her own person after all “Let me just throw it out there that love doesn’t have to do with what you did. Not you two specifically, but the act, don’t have to be in love or pledge yourselves eternal. Sometimes, it is… Just for a way of enjoying another’s company. And that is its own beautiful thing. ”
“Really? I thought you had to love someone to do it, that it wasn’t real otherwise.” Callie was quite naive when it came to relationships and emotions.
James ran his fingers through his hair a couple of times. “Nope. It is pretty real regardless of how one does it.” James took the rum out of her hand and drank it. “Look, ” he paused scratching underneath his eye, “Relationships are… Like … Dancing. Sometimes you pick a good partner, but you dance too long and both of you get tired and soon someone steps on a foot and then you quit. Sometimes, you find the right partner and dance for hours. Sometimes, you’re like me and you want to dance with everyone on the dance floor. Because, what an exciting experience! Some people are completely new. Some people are seasoned. Some people only know one basic move or dance step…very boring, but just my opinion. Just be careful about who you dance with. Because there are jerks out there, ” he paused again putting his hand on his chest “myself included, who will say anything to get your name on their dance card. Don’t just settle for a waltz when what you want is a tango, savy?”
She nodded “I think I understand, but how can you tell the difference between people who genuinely love you and want you and people who only want to……be with you.”
“It’s not an easy thing. You want to assume people are genuine. Sometimes they even are for that moment, but change.” He shrugged. “Ultimately, a person who loves you enjoys you. Enjoys spending time. Being with you without all the kissing etc. Basically, if they can sit down with you and just talk for hours on end, probably genuinely love you.”
“Do you love someone like that?” She asked innocently, kicking her boots off and pulling her knees up.
James grumbled, pulling off his coat and assorted weapons off his person before laying back to answer her questions. “I need wine for this talk…” He clicked his tongue. “No. I currently do not have someone I would dare to say I cherish in that way. Although if Bleu ever got her way she’d have us wed in a day. However, I do draw the line at sadistic killers.” He cleared his throat. “I haven’t been fortunate to find a partner who would complete me. As you said so yourself so coyly, clever Callie. I know nothing of love. Sure, I know the dances, I can flirt and charm in over a dozen languages. I can seduce in quite a few more than that. But no, I don’t love someone like that.” He sighed and then smirked quipping. “Besides, who has the time making sure my dear sister is amused and keeping dear brother on his toes.
She smiled and gave him a small nudge "I'm happy, Payton makes me happy, you deserve to be that happy as well. You can't just spend the rest of your days dancing through life."

"Do you love someone like that?" She asked innocently, kicking her boots off and pulling her knees up.

@pirate-princess101 “Hmm sounds serious, showing the enemy where we live and around.” A yawn came from the older kid’s mouth. “Welp, just put a eyepatch on the doorknob or something next time. I don’t need to be privy on how you two go about entertaining yourselves.” He wiggled his fingers in the air with a slight flair. “So… Whatever. Your business. Just be smart about it, and as long as you are happy. Just be more careful.” He pulled his hat over his eyes. “I was hoping you two were those two mermaids I saw the other day… SO Disappointing.
“Sorry to disappoint you, and he’s not the enemy……he’s my boyfriend.” She said calmly and leaned back on the couch. “He’s nothing like his father.”
“That’s even worse you know. They say most girls go for guys like their daddy’s. That means you are dating dad.“ He snickered teasingly from underneath his hat. “Boyfriend, enemy, a rose by any other name. I’m just saying in general it’s good practice not to let someone you very recently just met into your home. Of course, I am a hypocrite on that note, but I figured you might do well to learn from my experience. Less chance of being tied to the bed and having your stuff nicked. That goes for boyfriends or girlfriends by the way.
“What would you know about love dear brother?” She teased, getting herself a bottle from their father’s run cabinet.
“Absolutely nothing.” James quipped. “I wasn’t talking about ‘love’. You seem awfully quick to confuse ‘love’ with ‘lust’. ” He muttered eyeing her from under his hat. “Got yourself a boyfriend and now she is a “love expert”.“
“I’m not an expert, but I know Payton loves me and I love him.” She said in a matter-of-fact way. “And what we did…..it’s what you do when you love someone.”
This made James sit straight up and tear off his hat. He pointed his finger at her and started to speak then stopped. He made another attempt then stopped. He just sank his face in his hands and shook his head before raising his head again. "So… He told you that he loved you?” James finally asked, not sure whether he should argue the other matter.
She thought about it before nodding, but she couldn't actually remember "he told me tonight."
