Version 3 of Furtivus~ I spent a good 18 hours working on this layout from the watercolor painting to the final coding of the layout itself. I already explained the whole process in the sitely section of the shrine, but yeah I'm incredibly proud of this layout and even edited it to use as a wallpaper, ahaha. <3
Ok now HERE is a trip down memory lane... This is now the oldest Fated.nu screencap in this archive, version eight. (this would be back in late 2007 or early 2008) For some reason, I found this in my LiveJournal scrapbook account. I don't think this is a finished draft cap, though, because in the end (if I remember correctly), I made that right blue navigation part red instead. So I think this is an in-progress picture I took to ask a friend (probably Chrissy LOL) for advice, and it doesn't have any of the CSS or anything. But it's a nice look at how much (or little) my layouting style has changed in the last four years. I mean, RIHANNA LYRICS, 18-YEAR-OLD ME? REALLY?
Version two of Misery Business, a shrine to Meroko Yui from Full Moon wo Sagashite. I made the shrine because I had been able to adopt the fanlisting and this was my first ever shrine to a female character. Eventually, though, I sort of lost interest in it and closed the site down. This screencap doesn't have the text on the header because my friend Alice (Sophonax.net) actually did the typography for me and sadly I don't have a copy of what that looked like. A pity because her typography is always gorgeous. ;_;
Version 5 of Munich. It was kind of ... slapped together because I was going through layout block at the time, so it's starting to grate on my nerves and I'll probably change it sometime soon. The site has recently been put into archive mode, content-wise, but hopefully there's a special or something I can take images from.
Version 1 of Bloomveil. Probably won't change this until I get to replay Tales of Vesperia and fix this site up a bit more.
Version 1 for A Crow Left of Murder and I'm probably never changing it. A huge experiment in typography.
I had another layout all done for this site which should have been version one, but in hindsight, I think that layout was rather ugly so luckily I don't have a screencap of it. This is the official version one for Bones, which I rather like so I haven't seen fit to change it thus far.
The one and only version one for Cause and Effect. I wanted to make it look like a book page since Fuwa's like...this uber nerd. XD All that happened was I ended up with a very skinny layout, which is rather atypical for me.
Version 4 of Prince. It's the nicest of the four layouts the site has had, so it's good this is the only layout I have a cap of. :P
Version 2 of Furtivus! Ah, those watercolor brushes are everywhere on my layouts, I tell you.
Sadly I lost the layout that came before this one so you can't compare, but this is version 2 of Lonely in Gorgeous, or at least the front part of it. (the main pages are kind of plain) I tried to make it look like an editorial or something because I really loved that image.
Version 22 of Fated.nu, featuring the main three brothers from Persona ~Trinity Soul~. Somehow over the course of the past year, my track record has gone from "a layout a month" to "a layout twice a year". T_T Out of all the layouts I've made recently, I like this one the best, though it's not really thinking outside of the box or anything. At least it's nice to look at, I guess.
As of writing, the previous layout for Fated.nu, which was version 21. It featured Kiyama Hiroto from Inazuma Eleven and was kind of a half-assed layout I wanted to put up just for simplicity's sake and all.
My incredibly ambitious version 20 for Fated.nu, which had tons of textures and took hours of work. Oh and it features my favorite tsundere, Hajime Saitou from Hakuouki Shinsengumi Kitan. I ended up leaving this layout up the longest when compared to all of my previous domain layouts. It was up all the way from May of 2010 to December of the same year, which is a pretty big deal for me. I really love this layout a lot so I'm glad I managed to hold on to the coding and everything. owo
I adopted this Locke shrine from Alex of Leknaat.org and was going to pretty much totally revamp the site and only keep her media and ghosts from her essays, but I kept running into problems while replaying the game and the project proved to be way too ambitious, so I had to give up on it. ): Maybe someday when I have more time... It's a shame because I really love this layout. I lost the CSS, though, so here's just a screenshot of the header.
Fated.nu version 19, featuring Fran from Final Fantasy XII. It had a really pretty image hover thing for the navigation that I spent forever animating. Sadly I could only cap the header image because I don't have the CSS coding anymore, but you can get the gist of it from this.
A layout for a never-born shrine to Fubuki Shirou of Inazuma Eleven. MAN WHAT IS UP WITH THIS?? SO GRUNGY AND UNLIKE ME. 0_o I might finish this shrine some day, but recently Fubuki has gotten like no attention or development, soooooo.
