i will forever be haunted by the fact most wwdits fans will probably never know the full extent of (specifically) deacon's lore (technically i cant either because I CANT SEE THE LIVE SHOW and just get some facts from reviews and stuff of it but anyway 🚶‍♂️)

wdym i have to watch him get mischaracterised as nothing but some angry dickhead who ive seen people still call a nazi 💔

this is the guy who's canonically bi (vlad too) and "swings like a monkey on acid". who lost his only friend and his father when he was human. who had such a poor upbringing with his parents that he ran away from home with his little sister following him. who had to watch her die in his own arms from illness. who was taken by the nazis and did what he could to leave. who most likely, even judging by the short movie shots, was used and hurt by the nazis. who fell in love and was just laughed at and exploited and then abandoned at a port. who said himself "so... i apologise for the... not war crimes! minor mistakes. just me. i dont want to put myself in the same camp as the nazis, so i got the hell out."

i mean even in slightly more well known things like his podcast, he reads and improvises winnie the pooh to "little kiddies", talks about knitting and painting for his friends, walks around singing to himself, and more AND IN THE MOVIE HE TRIES TO COVER HIMSELF IN BLANKETS TO SACRIFICE HIMSELF FOR PETYR WHO IS LIKE HIS DAD - i will get to this in another post because its 5 am and i must scream im very normal about this movie btw chat. super

theres just so much more to his character and it drives me crazy the way ive seen some people describe him whoops
