New digital painting! Finally I improve my art :D (not my english, sorry ): ) — Visit my gallery on DA — Finalmente sono riuscita ad ottenere un risultato pressoché decente. Spero di riuscire a migliorare, soprattutto perché ho iniziato a prendere confidenza con una nuova tecnica. (Cara vanessa, prometto che presto o tardi finirò di colorare il Thor che ti avevo promesso!)
This is a Christmas present for a dear friend of mine! Aria T’Loak is one of my favourite characters in Mass Effect Universe ( and my favourite asari- AND ONLY!). I lover her charm and the particular temper she shows during the saga. I loved very much Omega ( and Nyreen, of course!)
Hope you’ll like this
"Ah, If only this were a fight against alcohol recession.” She can’t help but chuckle, low and throaty, at the thought. “That’d make your job a hell of a lot easier, wouldn’t it? Less travelling the galaxy trying to appease old idiots in power who don’t actually have any idea what they’re doing, and possibly more gun pointing and threatening gangs who hold all the liquor? Suits your style more.”
“And who says I don’t do that on the side? Fighting reapers may be my dayjob, but fighting gangs to get liquor to all the impoverished and sober souls in the galaxy? Now, that’s just a fun pastime for me.” It was odd to joke with someone like Aria. Shepard was normally all work and little play, yet there was a certain enjoyment that came from speaking with the pirate queen. Shepard was much too proud to admit such a thing, however, and sentiment sat well with neither in situations like this.
"Robin Hood theatrics set aside, I’m a bit disappointed I haven’t seen Patriarch around. Unless he’s the one that’ll be serving those drinks you mentioned."
She narrows her eyes at the mention of the deposed krogan crime lord. Her escape from her own station had been haphazard and hurried (she hadn't exactly been planning on being forced to abandon Omega) and so she hadn't had the time to leave with much more than the clothes on her back and a handful of agents.
Patriarch had been left behind on the station as a result, and the few newsfeeds that could get through to her from Omega hadn't mentioned much information on where the krogan could be, or even if he was still alive. The possible loss of one of her greatest war trophies rankled, but Aria had more pressing matters to attend to at the moment. If Patriarch was alive, then she'd get to him eventually. If not, then...well.
"That'd make for quite the sight, but as it stands he's out of the picture for the time being." She pauses, regarding the human carefully. "Enough about that. How goes the war effort?"
Even if others didn't recognize it.

"Must be," she agrees with a wry smirk. It wasn’t a secret that she had a less than stellar impression of Purgatory and it seemed like Shepard shared her views on the matter as well. She makes a vague gesture to the guard stationed across from her and he walks away, nodding.
"Why don’t you have a seat," she says rather than asks. "Just because Purgatory lacks the refined taste in alcohol that some of us possess, doesn’t mean there aren’t other ways to get something in here that doesn’t taste like watered down varren piss."
Shepard tolerated the Citadel, but it never carried the same thrill like Omega. Even Illium had its own lawlessness about it, and encouraged a more reckless side to blossom with the commander. But the Citadel was all politics and lies, and forced you into playing a role. It was something Shepard was good at, but often times playing the part was simply boring. It felt stifling, being on the Citadel.
"I should hope so. If Aria T’Loak herself couldn’t get her hands on some decent swill, I’d say the galaxy was already lost." A dark thought, but one that Shepard wouldn’t ever allow to become a reality. "I bet that getting such a thing is becoming more and more of a pain in the ass each day. Among other things, I’m sure."

"Well, look who we have here," she says disinterestedly, unsurprised at the Commander’s presence in the club. "Looking as chipper as always, Shepard."
“The same could be said for you. Guess Purgatory has a way of bringing out the best in us,” Shepard remarked dryly.
"Must be the fantastic entertainment and drink selection."
