At the end of the day, when it comes down to it, all we really want is to be close to somebody. So this thing where we all keep our distance, and pretend not to care about each other, it’s usually a load of bull. So we pick, and choose, who we want to remain close to. And once we’ve chosen those people, we tend to stick close by no matter how much we hurt them. The people that are still with you at the end of the day, those are the ones worth keeping. And sure sometimes close can be too close. But sometimes that invasion of personal space, it can be exactly what you need.

Time heals all wounds...we hope.

I am going to start blogging again. Recent updates...the "man" I thought I was going to be with forever broke my heart. I have lost 23 pounds and counting. Most of my posts will be nonsense and health and fitness. And random shit I just like and lots and lots of feelings and emotions.

Watched another depressing video in Food and Nutrition Class today about how poorly we treat our environment.

A March morning is only as drab as he who walks in it without a glance skyward, ear cocked for geese. I once knew an educated lady, banded by Phi Beta Kappa, who told me that she had never heard or seen geese that twice a year proclaim the revolving seasons to her well-insulated roof. Is education possibly a process of trading awareness for things of lesser worth? The goose who trades his is soon a pile of feathers.
