Don't know why she keeps putting research in air quotes like she does much more than parrot what other people say and pull information out of assumptions. The point is easy to understand 'you only go after Tyler this much about Wilbur because they're not mentally well.' I would like to add that the fact that they're not conventionally attractive adds onto it. It's lolcow culture at it's most blatant second to Chris-Chan. Wilbur fans who play both sides kinda suck.
Referring to Wilbur as an abuser while fangirling at the same time doesn’t make them better than everyone else. They act like other fans are in denial or delulu and they are the special, honest, clever ones who call out the truth.
My words to them:
It’s not clever. You’re not funny.
It is damaging to reputations that are already pretty screwed up.
It’s encourages and perpetuates and a culture of making fun of people.
You can accept whatever you believe Wilbur has done, accept even the harshest view of the allegations, and still wish for a good future for this band. You can accept and want recovery.
If that’s what you want, for reputations to recover and the band to continue making music, quit contributing to the very thing that is impeding it.
