Why does no one talk about being ruled by afflicted planets?

Imo they're really underrated because the afflicted planets kinda force you to figure your tools out, unlike the exalted ones in which they directly give it to you even though you may not fully control either understand it.

Like I've got two exalted placements (Jup & Moon) but my martian influence (Mars being in Cancer sign along with Jupiter and ruled by Moon) is way bigger than these two. Mind you, I have that conjunction in 8H.

You'd argue that they're not that bad, that I'm good, then you have to know that the only major aspect of the Moon is the square to Neptune in Aquarius and Jupiter only has the conjunction as the major aspect.

I don't usually get taken seriously by my own family, and everytime that I've proven them to be right I did it on my own. So like I don't really ask them for help. I'm pretty much guarded, and everything that I learnt when it comes to money, to things from other people and education in home wise I had to apply it for myself because they wouldn't provide it for me.

These were the things I found that I really lacked and so I had to forcefully grow up when I was in Internet from early on, because I didn't have any better backups and I was essentially overprotected, isolated and socially abandoned. By my father side there was absolutely no financial education even though I always loved being with him because he would always try to talk to me and by my mother side, I was socially abandoned even though I was always eating thanks to her. They were just trying their best, even though the lacks were way too much big for me. It's not like I was being very demanding, because I wasn't asking too much and my mental health issues didn't even help at all during the puberty and I know I wasn't a saint either (though, who says that teens are saints? Hypocritical and unaware adults). It's crazy that after all I'm in a much better situation, far away from family. Lol. But now I have to come back because of some personal stuff, and I'm seeing how they're repeating certain things that they once did with me and I'd go and tell them and rectify it as humanly can do.

You'd say Jupiter in Cancer helps with the family things, except that it's with an afflicted Mars in 8H and influenced by an exalted Moon badly aspected with Neptune. My family was and is still damn disfunctional. It really gives you a perspective to understand of.

Wow! This is a huge example and I definitely agree with that observation, I wish people read between the lines a lot more because just because a planet is in it's rulership or in exaltion, those aspects & house placements really take the cake more than the sign itself does, hell even the degree it's at

So I've never actually seen a problem. They do not go deep into details which is exactly what this is🤔

Pluto in the 1H, Aries or Aspecting Mars) and just only explain one of those, using it as a generalization. Those are three separate observations and it doesn't really work like that, you can definitely describe the house and sign together but they do not have the same exact description. Very different energies.

Even though the houses can have similar vibes from original signs, it still depends. Like, yeah, of course Scorpio, 8H and Pluto aspects have same energy, but all these three are going to differ from how they work.

So let's try an example with Mars.

Mars in Scorpio has its own energy and uses it depending of the houses themes.

Mars in 8H uses that energy to invest in 8H themes and can act like Mars in Scorpio, but the difference here is that how much energy you can afford which can be determined by the sign where it's sitting in.

Mars conjunct Pluto is pretty much alike Mars in Scorpio, except that the direct conjunction of Pluto actually makes it way more heavier than normally is.

Sometimes the interpretations can be mixed and can be misleading, but you use the sign as the energy, the house as to where do you use the energy to invest in and the aspects as how it relates and communicates along with the other planets.

It's not the same having, let's say, Mars in Scorpio 1H conjunct Pluto than Mars in Cancer 8H conjunct Jupiter. You could say they are kinda similar, but they've got totally different tools to support their tool in common for similar but distinct enough purposes.

Placements in Astrology I think is cool

This is a random post, I'm just gonna talk about some astrology placements/aspect/degrees etc that makes me think "oh, thats dope". Just little posts until I find inspiration to get serious abt posting astrology again lol.

🎧 Mercury-Uranus/Jupiter aspects (Primarily Trine & Intense Aspects like Conjunction): These individuals are the definition of yap sessions, either that or they're smart as fuck, they're the types to go IN on whatever their topics of interests are and within 1 hour of studying it can tell you about it's origins up until the present. They're also just mental vaults for some reason, the type to just know shit for the sake of knowing. These individuals have interesting taste too, when it comes to music, writing, etc. they're creative asf and can listen to just about anything.

🎧 3H Placements!!!!!: dude I'm lowkey sick of 3H placements not getting enough credit but this is literally a powerhouse house, I'm gonna talk about another house that it's similar to–in my opinion–but, having a planet or celestial body in the 3H or even asteroids like Industria, Academia, Destinn, etc in that house just makes someone a genius. Especially if Mercury is in this house. These people can be very witty and that's something we lack in verbal interactions nowadays.

🎧 Uranus 1H & 10H: These individuals give "revolutionary", mainly because Uranus is in those angular or what I like to call it "in your face" houses. But, they are just different without even needing to try, their aura exudes it and they're not really the types to fit, I knew someone with Uranus in the 1H, highkey, they were a dope ass person in terms of interest and hobbies.

🎧 Pluto in 3H, 11H & 9H: I love these houses so much and what they all have in common is this "genius" characteristic. For all of them really, they may know a lot of information that they tend to withold/gatekeep. Though they can be outcasts, their rich knowledge is their best inner quality whether or not they are fans of higher education. They're the types ro be "Students of Life".

🎧 Another is any planet at 22°, these people can be alchemists and honestly have a lot of power, this is a Capricorn degree so durrh, but! It's true! Infamously known to be a kill or be killed degree, it has an intimidating vibe and it lowkey makes someone a "threat to society" where that degree is located, in other words, they hold a lot of power if utilizing the energy correctly.

🎧 Strangely enough, Cancer Mars: These individuals are "harmless" but are vengeful and calculating, it especially depends on what it's aspecting in the chart. Nothing else, I just think it's cool.

🎧 Fortune at Gemini (3°, 15°, 27°) degrees: idk why but this always screamed communications major & study abroad to me, for these individuals, their voice and using it is their key to success, and using your voice is quite literally necessary for everything you do in life. These individuals can take interest in podcasting, music, news anchoring, business, writing, talk shows, reality shows, social media influencing, and so much more!! They tend to have endless interests, and are good multitaskers.

🎧 2H/10H(MC) in Gemini, Sagittarius, Aries & Capricorn. AMBITIOUS! That's the only word I can think of, these individuals are just like what I observed right above this one, they have multiple interests and may want to do everything. These individuals may just have a drive of simply money and can possibly adapt to most occupations, they might have worked very different jobs and possibly like the idea of hustling, they might have made money at young ages too and continue to have a consistent drive and goal. (PS. I almost added Scorpio to this one but it didn't seem right)

🎧 Virgo Venus: I must say...As a Taurus venus myself, I love this placement. Virgo Venuses can be though picky but have refined taste, if this placement aspects their ascendant too it's kind of like bonus points because it especially shows up in their style. They remind me of Ikebanas and neutral colors. Interesting.....🤔

🎧 Afflicted Mercuries: Even though it's not right on the surface, they're pretty interesting. Sagittarius Mercury has humor and potential wit, Pisces Mercury has the creativity and imagination and honestly, I'll also add in if Mercury aspects Pluto, because if they're an artist it's a chance they got some valuable ass ideas.

But seriously, these individuals could be dancers, or just like being active in general, if a negative aspect you might struggle with activity.

🎧 Asteroid Polyhmnia (33) in Angular houses: these individuals are TALENTEDDDDD. No doubt about it, this asteroid is connected to having "multiple talents" and if it's prominent in your chart, 👏🏽. I think that's super cool.

• Quick Astrology Observations •

-> Quick little post of things I observed in astrology, I'll include a couple Persona chart notes idk but mainly regular natal chart notes. I talk mostly about career in this post so, if you're not into that, keep scrollin.

• Though squares have a lot of tense energy, having them makes the individual much stronger in their adult years

• Sun in the 6H/12H work ethic is unmatched, these individuals know what it's like to work hard at a young age and are very critical about their work no matter what field they are in

• Any planet at 21° creates an expansion on the energy of that planet, this applies to asteroids as well.

• Asteroid Born in Capricorn Degrees (10° & 22°), 17°, or in the 10H/1H indicates your journey involving paths that lead to recognition for talent/career.

• Libra MCs can have careers in entertainment, beauty, law, and fashion.

• Taurus and Libra are both venusian but very different, Taurus is more associated with objects/their own craft, Libras may prioritize their audience/people.

• North Node Conjunct Klio asteroid indicates making history in the future for the individual.

• Whatever planet Talent conjuncts can indicate talent in that specific area. (ex. Talent conjunct Venus = Talented in beauty(makeup), arts, etc)

• Persona Chart: In your MC PC chart, having a lot of Capricorn in your chart or placements in the 1H points to a career of being in the spotlight, these individuals work pretty hard and depending on the objects placed here can show having more fruitful rewards from your chosen profession.

• Planets at 15°, 16°, 18° & 22° can test people with this energy, they learn how to not operate from ego and instead lead with their heart and with pure and sometimes selfless intentions

• 11° & 2° are success degrees, even check your houses for this, whatever energy that degree surrounds should be taken into consideration.

• Asteroids like Destinn & Born, are a bit similar to Vertex, check those asteroids for where you are needed in this lifetime

• MC at 21° can have great careers.

• North Node Conjunct Fama (408) indicates fame past 30 years old in that particular planet

• Oppositions are very important, it just tells you to balance both energies where the aspect occurs. I've heard some interpret the aspect as it meaning that one planet/object's energy cannot be involved with the other planet/objects energy, but no. It's similar to a conjunction except it's not one combined energy.

• I really encourage Persona Chart Observations, just the Sun Persona (a.k.a your natal) chart is not nearly enough to understand the planet's energies astrologically.

• Pluto/Saturn in 9H individuals either love education and religion/philosophy or completely reject and stray away from either one of the two(themes of 9H). These individuals also may not understand how lucky they really are lol.

• Capricorn MCs are very much about their work, they are very critical and get shit done, they tend to excel in a lot of places lol. Their Gemini 2H have a lot to do with this as well.

(cont.) Cardinal MCs in general are super successful. That's it, argue w smb else about this 🙂‍↕️.

• 7H placements are great at making connections, their energies are typically neutral off first interaction which makes them likable. They tend to please a lot though

• 8H Jupiters don't need to marry rich or aren't really expected to. Though they attract wealthy individuals (spiritually or materialistically) they tend to excel on their own as well. They receive a lot when they crash out lol. When they give up everything or even possibly take risks. The universe usually has their back.

• Each sign has a distinctive look, talk about it. I wanna know what y'all think 🤔.

• 26° on a specific planet/object shows where you can make money off of. 28° shows where you can create WEALTH off of.

• 25° creates an impatient energy around the object/planet. It creates a rush that the individual creates around that energy.

• If you are young studying astrology, please stop checking your North Node PC. Please check your South Node chart, your north node is not activated until after 30 yrs old. So focus on what's before that. Then worry about your NN, just advice though, do it how you want.

• Back to the topic if 18° & 22°, wherever this is in your chart makes you powerful, these are not really negative asteroids, I'm unsure if I stated this before but those with these aspects are very protected around that energy of the planet/object/house. If it's over your MC? Consider going hard for your career goals, you will get it but don't be friendly with people here, it's important to note these degrees heavily attract jealousy. (Other ex. Saturn at 18°, people are envious and judge your discipline and your unshakeable self-worth. With Sun, people try to stun your image because they know how well you shine.)

I'm gonna stop here because I dk what else to think about. As you can tell I'm very interested in career. I prefer to use astrology mainly to uncover that more than other aspects of life.
