Kato (and ig [404]) lore bc i cant write tis all in af 🥀 (ignore 🥀🥀🥀)

my old fart oc named Kato is a inspector who works as a undercover DH agent collecting data out from tower for his **new** locker

loreee: Kato was raised in a highly strict household that focuses on a lot of academics and moral teachings. Kato’s parents who keeps a high standard on these topics often pressures Kato to become someone better than the average (if not above average) knowledge of a regular person. Because of these high standards, Kato feels the intense peer pressure coming from his parents. At some point, Kato really wanted to gain his parents approval, however because they were often dismissive and disapproving Kato’s performance, Kato now found it useless to continue gaining their approval. Because of how pressured he felt throughout his childhood, Kato believes that he hasn’t have a lot of liberty or freedom for himself to learn some of the goals he wants to face instead of being forced to study and have high expectations. With this ideology, Kato eventually would ditch his family’s motives to become better academically and ethically in order to pursue his own goal and motives, however because of the rough tensions Kato had with his parents and their goals and motives, this would leave a huge burden to Kato.

Sometime later it would be that Kato would be invested in learning and partaking in learning technological topics such as IT, scripting, coding, etc. due to how simple and easy learning these topics are without someone having to nag you about doing stuff wrong (plus it was interesting to him either way lel). Eventually, Kato would understand ALL of the fundamentals and topic grounds of all technological fields which gives him many opportunities to go on with his life.

Eventually, a hacker group that goes by DH would take notice in this and would praise Kato for his incredible knowledge with technological stuff. Since Kato was never praised before, this would lead Kato to feeling comfortable and close witj the DH group, thus resulting for Kato to join the DH group working as a role of a exploiter due to his immense sere knowledge on coding fields. Eventually, the lockers would be introduced to Kato. Once noticed, Kato would eventually make a locker of his own to create a some sort of a coping mechanism and escapism from his past. However, one day his locker would be corrupted all together by unknown viruses. Because of the corruption, Kato decided to abandon his locker all together (little did he know, a certain virus got too fond with him and got upset with Kato abandoning the locker (and him) all together (this virus is actually dun dun dun DUNNN, [404])

Soon the later, Kato thought that it would be best if he were to make a new locker for his own from scratch after previous circumstances with his old locker. Eventually, Kato would take on the news about a virtual reality place called ‘TOWER’; where androids called ‘HANOIS’ would be sent there as a way of therapy or redemption for them under the surveillance of an ‘Inspector’. With the new findings, Kato seemed to think that the TOWER place was not a bad idea as a way of rehabilitation, so he decided to go undercover as a role of a inspector in order to take a good note on how TOWER operates and how he can use some of ethical findings within’ the TOWER so that he could inject that same data to his new locker.

little does Kato know, a certain virus has tooken into notice with his plans and is planning to manipulate his plans in order for Kato to return back to his old locker (and this virus knows that he would have to turn things ugly and nasty for whatever case that would lead for Kato to return back to his old locker).

also fun facts about the two of them lelmao

-Kato’s whole exploitation role thingy is based off of real life events of when i would exploit in games when i was 13 ALL THE WAY till i turned 17 😭

-Kato’s whole technology autism thingy comes from me too <3 (tho he’s better than me at it 😭)

-“if [404] is a virus that Kato had to once deal with, but is a moving manual, then how was that possible??” [404] for one SLIMED out the og moving manual who was just a innocent introverted bby who rlly did nothing wrong 🥀 and also because [404] now knows what a moving manual looks and performs, [404] is able to disguise himself as a moving manual LOLZ

-im not sure if all moving manuals is just initially named “01” out fresh from the start, but if that is the case, then [404] wouldn’t get that name in general as the system would recognize him as a moving manual from appearance, but not from his initial programed script, thus results into the error title (hence the name [404]).

-tbh the name [404] was inspired by the plum stickers i always collect (4040 or 1404 LOL)
