Hello everybody, I'm a gay person in a homophobic refugees camp in East Africa. I walked miles of distances from my home country where I was considered a demon just because I'm an lgbtqi person. I acquired diseases, slept hungry for weeks through my flea. I ran to the boarder and found Red cross Kenya that held me and stayed there for weeks until I was brought to a refugees camp where I've stayed for two(2)and a half years.
I thought maybe I would have been saved from hatred and discrimination when I I was brought in the camp, but now it's the worst place of my life I've been too. The community, the government and even the officials are the most discriminative people I've ever seen.
They beat us, torture and arrest us several times and get denials everywhere we go. We suffer from hunger, denial of access to water or even work anywhere in the camp. We're helpless and voiceless.
I hereby plead for attention to my situation here and advocate for us, make awareness to whom it may concern because we need your help. We shall be grateful for your support, thanks. We hope you raise support through a PayPal account; [email protected]
