ALL ADULT TUMBLR BLOGGERS NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO THIS. Â
Re-blog the FUCK out of this shit because tumblr, under the leadership of Yahoo!’s Marissa Mayer has begun an EXPANSIVE lock down on adult videos uploaded to their platform.  Let’s be honest… it was NEVER permitted, even before the unfortunate Yahoo! acquisition, for tumblr users to upload adult video content to tumblr.  People did it anyway, and as tumblr’s staff would find them, they’d take them down one by one, but we’re starting to see full-on guerilla warfare on the adult tumblr blogger (who undoubtedly makes up an overwhelmingly large percentage of all bloggers on tumblr) from this site right now, and they are starting to straight-up delete blogs without warning for violations, EVEN IF YOU ALREADY PRO-ACTIVELY DELETED THE VIDEO(S) FROM YOUR TUMBLR PRIOR TO TERMINATION.
The other day I received a violation for a video I uploaded back in 2012 during the early days of this blog– back when it was a bit easier to get away with uploading adult videos here, if I’m being honest.  I received this recent violation even though I’ve LONG ago pro-actively gone through my ENTIRE archive and deleted any videos I uploaded to this platform in years past, including the one cited in the violation.  I keep seeing posts on porn tumblrs of people exclaiming, “BUT I SEE PORN VIDEOS UPLOADED TO TUMBLR ALL THE TIME, WHY ARE THEY PICKING ON MY BLOG!?!”  Those videos most likely were uploaded long ago and just haven’t been discovered yet by staff.  Know this: if you continue to upload porn videos to tumblr, they will delete your entire account (and possibly even any sub blogs?) and they won’t even bat an eye.  I’ve seen it happen to too many of my friends’ blogs.
If you uploaded a video long ago and have taken action to pro-actively remove the video from your blog (which hilariously doesn’t remove it entirely from OTHER tumblrs apparently– and they’ll still hold YOU accountable), then I implore you to file an appeal.  Is it fair for them to delete blogs when the owner has taken steps to remove the violating material?  Not as far as I’m concerned, so appeal, appeal, appeal.  But if you’re just uploading video after video without a care, don’t expect much sympathy.  I still have heard nothing in response to a couple of appeals I sent their way last week.
Let’s face it.  This is SADDDDDDDLY no longer the tumblr of 2010, and I predict things won’t get any better or more accommodating for the adult blogger, so it’s time for those of us who intend to stay around for our followers to begin looking for the next option.  Where is tumblr’s biggest competitor?  Where do we go if we get the axe? Â
We need to ban together as the huge community we are, REGARDLESS of porn genre, regardless of whether we post straight, gay, bi, trans, or any kind of kink content. Â
We are ALL in this together, and we have a large, clearly authoritarian corporation against us.  Play nice for now, but it’s time we start looking for the next platform for our creative outlets.  It’s clear that tumblr is not willing to create a win-win situation with its adult bloggers, and that’s their prerogative as owners of the site, AND once they begin losing all the adult bloggers, who will be left?  Do you know how many non-porn-blogging users follow my porn blog and undoubtedly countless others? Â
This platform was practically BUILT on its adult accounts, and while they may try to marginalize us as less-than or unimportant here, my hallucination is that once they run us all off, the majority of their users will follow us to whatever the next platform is. Â Remember what happened when the MPAA and RIAA began cracking down on Napster back in the day? Â How long did it take for file sharing app after file sharing app to be created once Napster was gone? Â Human beings at our core are freedom seekers, and prohibition has NEVER worked throughout the history of the world. Â The more you prohibit us, the more alluring you make what you prohibit. Â Period.
May Marissa and her team at tumblr consider this, as for the most part, porn bloggers on tumblr are good folks just using this outlet as a means to express themselves in a way we can’t on more “vanilla” platforms like facebook.  Especially considering it looks like tumblr is pretty much one of the only brands keeping the new Marissa-led Yahoo! afloat amidst brand after brand they acquired having failed.
To the FFollowers of FY!FF specifically, as long as you’ve bookmarked my domain name, and NOT the tumblr URL, should anything unexpected happen to this blog, you’ll always be re-directed somewhere for explanation.  You can also follow me on twitter (a platform, by the way, that has learned to work with its adult users and ALLOWS THEM TO UPLOAD VIDEOS to their platform, no less) for the latest on the blog.  I’ve put 5 long years of effort into this blog, and it’d be a shame if it was all washed away when I’ve already taken measures to resolve any potential violations.  I encourage you guys to do the same until tumblr’s policy is either amended or a proper competitor comes to fruition.

EDIT: Literally as soon as I hit “post” on this thing I check my e-mail and I got ANOTHER violation for a video uploaded in 2012 that I ALREADY FUCKING DELETED YEARS AGO.  They are coming for us, you guys.  FML.
