Neural Network Film
Project by Damien Henry is an hour long film created with a neural network which resembles the view of a train journey window (and is also soundtracked with Steve Reich):
Graphics are 100% generated by an algorithm in one shot. No edit or post-processing. Except the first one, all frames are calculated one by one by a prediction algorithm that tries to predict the next frame from the previous one.

Octopus Playground
Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman created a large-scale animal design, this time with the function of a playscape for Vanke Group’s One City development in the centre of Yantian, Shenzhen. The playground is designed within the eight legs and head of an octopus, a piece that is named after the mythological sea creature Kracken.

Niche Tea Packaging by IWANT
“From the outset we agreed we wanted to create a lifestyle brand, a tea range that kicked against the glut of high street tea brands, and that would sit as comfortably on the pages of Wallpaper as it would in your Ocado shop. We chose to create a series of patterns that reflected the blends and used a limited colour palette across the range – we used butt jointed tubes as they gave us a seamless canvas to allow the patterns to really sing.”
IWANT is creative branding & communcations agency based in East London. They specialise in creating brands, art direction, packaging, environments, digital, illustration and image making. Whether working with a national institution, global brand or a start-up they employ the same principles and ethos of functional beautiful design, bursting with personality that engages and excites, achieved through conceptual thinking, discourse and hard work.
