I had a dream last night where I watched the first episode of campaign 3 of critical role, this is how my REM sleep thinks it will start + the characters:
The characters are all going to start the campaign at a wedding! They were all finely dressed in suits, and I'm pretty sure that they're all friends of some sort or at least acquaintances. The wedding took place outside, with many purples, whites and greens. It did not look like it took place in Marquet. Rip.
Ashley's character I think was a halfling and was chatting to Marishas character, who was this blue-looking dragonborn.
Dragonborn looks like a martial class while halfling I have no clue what they were. The two characters seem to either know each other or had just been first awkwardly meeting on a couch.
Sam was going to play a kenku who was a screech owl but looked like a snow owl, and was surprisingly tall for an already strange Kenku. We get introduced to the Kenku while Marisha and Ashley's characters were sitting together quietly chatting and feeling uncomfortable with one another, and then we see this owl sit completely in between them, and start yelling. I have no clue how Sam was going to work with a kenku owl that legit sounded like it was screaming all the time, but I remember the chat going wild over the character so I guess it's what the people wanted. This owl had a red underside and face, my guess is that this Kenku was a monk.
Taliesin - A fairy who I remember was introduced like this : "well he has two eyes, one nose, two ears" Taliesin was pointing these out as it was thought by the sleep fandom that he would be playing a unique looking character, Luara chimed in and asked "do they also have 2 horns?" Taliesin laughed and said no, "but they do have two very long ears, long red eyebrows, one horn! Shaped like a unicorns horn, and a single apple on their ear." We then see this character, who did indeed had a miniature apple growing on his ear! This character said "I've been trying to grow this fruit I saw awhile ago," so this character is a fairy with the unicorn horn and can grow fruits / flowers / other plants on his ears like earrings. So cool. I'm pretty sure he was a bard, and I am also stealing him for my own, alongside screech-snow owl Kenku.
Travis played a character that I can only assume was very Travis-y. The character itself was pretty much just blue Fjord. Or what I think it was was more specifically a Fjord shaped air / water genesi. This character was far more talkable than Fjord, and far more intelligent than Grog. I have no clue what class he would be, so I'm just going to say he was either a Blood Hunter, Bard, or Cleric.
Travis's character apparently was friends/business buddies with these two outgoing dogfolk(???), and the wedding all the characters were attending was run by him and the dogfolk.
I have no clue what Laura's character was though :(.
I have no idea who Liam's character was either, I think maybe that character was speaking to Talison's? But I'm pretty sure that was the blue dragonborn.
Maybe Laura and Liam's characters were getting married lol.
And now I want to start a campaign where all the characters meet at a wedding and chaos ensues.
