The latest Neopets' plot update is r/hobbydrama levels of trainwreck so I'll do my best to explain it
(Note: very mild spoilers for the plot steps below, no story spoilers):
So the plot officially ended yesterday after going on for two (2) years
Except not because then TNT turned around and added an epilogue with activities, with the only difference being that you can't earn plot points from this chapter (so like a regular chapter but. worse)
For some reason the main page directs you to the epilogue, but if you go back to the previous chapter (which like, why would you) they added one extra page. Why? I have no idea. But this is beside the point
What TNT needed to do with the epilogue: post the epilogue so people can read it
What TNT actually did with the epilogue: make it be unlocked by solving four riddles (each with a riddle after for a total of 8)
Half of the riddles were easily solved, and involved things like playing a game and having certain items in your inventory (one seems to be slightly bugged, once again, beside the point)
However, one riddle requires you refresh a certain page at midnight NST
If you live in other places, such as the eastern US, midnight on Neopets is 3 AM
I want to reiterate: you have to get up as late as 3 AM if you want the epilogue to the 2 year story you've been reading
To add insult to injury, once you've completed the above step you then have to do an activity where you have to immediately respond by clicking on something with no warning or explanation as to what you're doing
If you fail to do the above, you're locked out for 24 hours until you're allowed to try again. Remember, this is separate from the 3 AM step
Because some people have already accessed the actual story, your only option if you're stuck on any step is to either get spoiled or ban yourself from all Neopets conversation for 24+ hours
