It’s almost sad to see how much energy some people invest just to force their way into the spotlight. You really shouldn't let the facade fool you.

Just for some context: working at a convention like this isn't some big privilege... they’re honestly always looking for people. If you really want it, getting a handler position is pretty easy. The bar isn't exactly high. I don’t even begrudge her the job; the work is tough and you get paid very little, if anything at all. But of course, you’re close to the source, and the stars and guests are really nice to you. That red lanyard looks good, sure, but it’s more for show than anything else, even if some of us like to read too much into it or pretend it’s some kind of special status.

The only thing that’s truly bitter about her situation is that she’s clearly just using this path to somehow get her foot in the door with Ted again. Honestly, I feel the most for Dana. She is such a kind, genuinely funny, and easygoing person. I really just hope for her sake that she finds out who she’s actually dealing with in time.

Chicago wasn’t a slip-up and it wasn’t a misunderstanding. If you get blocked and then still show up where that person works, that’s a conscious choice to ignore a boundary that was clearly set. There’s nothing left to debate and nothing to brush off with sarcasm.

This isn’t about liking horror, fandoms, or con photos. It’s about how someone reacts to a clear no. A block is distance. And distance should be respected.

What also bothered a lot of people was the way she acted before that. The constant implying of special closeness, insider knowledge, and a “role” that never existed. It created pressure in the fandom and a climate where other fans felt small or pushed out.

Follower counts, IMDb hints, paid celebrity selfies, or ironic self-branding don’t change that. And they’re irrelevant. They’re distractions from the actual point. In the end, it’s not about image. It’s about behavior. And that part was clear. Toward Ted. And toward us as a community.

You absolutely nailed it.

Even if they were actually friends and there was some reason to genuinely have reason to doubt why she was blocked- if she cared even the slightest bit about Ted or his autonomy, she would have asked his manager if it was okay to go up and when the answer was a no, she’d respect it and walk away. No lashing out. No lying. No tantrum online and deleting things. No “I guess being nice gets you nothing” jabs. Just “oh. Okay.” There are ways to gently clarify confusion without forcing someone to interact with you directly and it doesn’t seem like she even cared enough to do that.

“I’m awkward and don’t know what I did wrong but I clearly upset him and I feel bad that I did but respect his choice.” Is not what we are hearing and if she really was the person she pretends to be, that’s what she’d be saying. Nice people care about how they make others feel. Especially if the other person is someone they leveraged and pretended to be close with.

And there’s never EVER a point where one fan should be making another fan feel like they are ‘less’. Fandom is about celebrating the same thing, not a competition. Knowing the most random facts about an actor doesn’t mean you’re winning fandom. If everyone isn’t included and equal (so long as they’re not hurting anyone) it isn’t even a fandom any more.

Also: it’s not a “slip up” when you spend months planning it and posting the outfits that you intend to wear for it.

It’s interesting to see old fandom moments, actor thank-yous, and 2011/2012 nostalgia being reposted right now. No one is denying that there were positive, creative, supportive fan experiences back then. A lot of us have memories like that too.

But that isn’t the point.

The current discussion isn’t about old birthday videos, London trips, “no gatekeeping,” or how long someone has been a fan. It’s about very specific behavior in the present.

A block is a clear boundary. And what happens after that is what matters.

Past good experiences don’t change how someone responds to a boundary. Old screenshots aren’t a free pass for current behavior. Character isn’t proven through memory collages, it’s shown in real-time choices.

And this is where the actual issue sits. In the current fandom, people feel uncomfortable. Not because of old fan projects, but because of the pattern that became visible after the block. The repeated implication of special closeness, the way boundaries got minimized or sidestepped. That discomfort is real, even if it gets brushed off with irony or reframed as “gatekeeping.”

What also stands out is how often the conversation gets pulled back into self-branding. Follower counts, “I met X backstage,” “I got a personal message,” “I might pop up on IMDb,” the need to frame ordinary fan access as proof of importance. None of that addresses the actual concern. It just tries to rebuild status instead of dealing with the boundary issue.

No one is banning fandom. No one is saying you can’t go to cons or take photos. What’s being addressed is something else. Respect for a clear no, and basic awareness of how your behavior lands on other people.

You can post the past. Trust in a fandom is built in the present.

-judged people’s appearances and tried to mask her disgusting comments as health concern

Also I’m very sorry that you experienced that kind of disappointment in her. I’ve heard a lot of her former fans express the same sentiment and I’m sure that’s why she’s getting far less interaction. I’m glad I could at least answer your questions or provide context. So much of what they do relies on people being unable to find previous information that I felt like the best thing to do is provide whatever information was available.

Self inserts will never be a truly horrible thing. HOWEVER. Jasmine takes this too far. This intense obsession with Ted is terrifying. Thinking he owes you something. Going to almost every con he’s at to meet him. Making provocative comments and gestures. The moment she gets blocked she’s make extremely harsh and threatening posts. That’s not normal. None of the people involved have been normal.

I shouldn’t have to say this but an actor should never have to block their “fans”. All three of you did something so heinous and basically harassed and tortured this man every con. Kissing him and running away (LacTea) Following/Stalking him to find him at an restaurant (Bloo) and obsessively going out of your way to meet the actor knowing he blocked you and crossing so many boundaries (Jasmine). This is so far from normal. You all have hurt not just Ted in ways that we most likely will never know. In fact their are things that happened at that recent con that I’m sure we will never find out but the lack of content there shows.

You guys also let down the Ted/Quarry fans. You’ve made many of us (myself included) take a large step back because of how batshit insane you guy all are. It’s making me sad to interact or post stuff about Ted’s upcoming works or past works. It feels icky now. Because you guys are so insane you ruined a fun and welcoming community for a niche actor. Ted has stopped allowing people to tag him on instagram and while I don’t have proof I am certain it is because of you three! You guys have ruined a place to share artwork or cosplays. You’ve genuinely been such a stain on the community Jasmine and LacTea especially.

Jasmine if you read this never post Ted gifs again. Don’t post about him. Don’t talk about him. Don’t like my contact if I ever post about him either. Don’t like any of ours. You’re not welcome anymore. You’ve lost all credibility. And LacTea you should feel shameful doing body pillows of an man you basically considered your father figure (although it clearly wasn’t that way and Ted just enjoyed your work) you have guilted so many fans and followers. Self inserts from time to time are totally fine. Multiple self inserts of you with the guy who ended up blocking you ( when you're claiming you did absolutely nothing wrong and an evil entity/other person made him do it) is context for why you may have done to get blocked or at least made others uncomfortable.

So tumblr crashed and deleted the anon I was responding to.

There is an important timeline to establish here for full context. I feel like anyone just curious and looking at this for the first time needs to understand that both people were friends and regularly working together to be a problem. But I also don’t want to overwhelm you with all of the details.

Chicago is referring to Flashback Weekend Chicago. That was August 2 of 2024.

By the time this happened BlooKitty had already been an issue. She was seen harassing Ted on Twitter for an answer to a cryptic question she asked in person. There are also screenshots of her and Lacteaway harassing and taking the photos of Ted’s Assistant and making innuendos about her on tumblr. And apparently she insisted she was friends with Ted and was telling other fans what they should or shouldn’t do at conventions according to some anons I’ve seen.

She was followed by security at a previous convention in Cincinatti in March of 2024. Security had been overheard at this convention suggesting she just be removed or kicked out, since she would not leave Ted or his table alone. There is a picture of multiple security guards and Ted’s agent all glaring at her while she’s at the table with him.

According to her she had been trying to “give Ted an opportunity to see her tattoo in person” because it spells out his name or something. And I guess he said no? Considering whay she wrote on the subject and what she writes in her Chicago blog, it sounds like she asked to show him her shoulder tattoo privately? “His manager said no” implies that his manager was also involved? Then it appears she didn’t take no as an answer or realize that sounds like she’s about to try to steal his kidneys?

Apparently she gave up her tickets to follow up event after her poor behavior came to light. Then she showed up in Chicago for Flashback Weekend and here are her words on the subject:

So she clearly described Ted’s actual, physical discomfort and him saying NO, then admits she ignores it when he politely gives her alternatives because she tried those and he didn’t answer, so she does it anyways. Then apparently followed them to a steak dinner and snuck a picture… and he was so uncomfortable with her being there that he basically walked away from his family and in to traffic to avoid her.

So that’s Chicago.

Then in early August of 2025 Ted came back to Instagram after a long hiatus and blocked a handful of people. Lacteaway, BlooKitty and apparently DraganWHorror were all among the group that was blocked and expressed so publicly. They had bizarre meltdowns over it that they deleted (but not before screenshots were taken). And Lacteaway’s mother suddenly was going to lose her legs over a mysterious condition that kept changing and she needed money miracle treatment that kept changing in amounts.

Lacteaway has said that she paid the trip off in advance but made multiple posts after her mother’s supposed surgery about how she wasn’t sure how she’d afford to go to this convention.

She also sent multiple fans to his comment section following being blocked, to try to make him feel guilty and ask him why he “abandoned” her. It’s important to mention that this tactic has been used before and there are multiple old screenshots of her friends harassing him in comments about her. Including people harassing him to follow her on IG after he left Twitter. So clearly there is some additional history of inappropriate behavior and not taking no for an answer there, even without delving into the details of other things she’s done. Then Lacteaway showed up at to For the Love of Horror in Manchester, miraculously having money for this convention after all:

So she physically described a man who was not only uncomfortable with her being there but possibly even afraid. Given he used to follow her on Twitter and she bragged regularly about messaging with him, it’s pretty safe to say that she was not blocked on accident. In addition to this she was described as circling his table waiting for his agent to not be there. Then hid behind her friends so he couldn’t see her, popped out and then she he clearly didn’t want her there, she ran away.

So basically this man established he didn’t want her in his life by blocking her. So she raised a bunch of money from fans under false pretenses and flew to another country, hid behind her friends so she could not be seen and stopped in advance. He was understandably uncomfortable and then she ran to the internet to call him pathetic and try to humiliate him. Over him clearly just not being happy to see a fan he blocked for what seems to be continued harassment. I can only imagine what other things she’s said or done to make him that uncomfortable.

TLDR

Blookitty harassed him over an extended period of time and when she didn’t get what she wanted, she showered up in Chicago and forced him to look at her tattoo. Then followed him and his brother to a steakhouse, took secret pictures and scared him into walking into the street.

Then multiple people including her were blocked and claimed they “did nothing”.

Then Lacteaway (who was also publicly harassing him prior to being blocked) seem to have lied about a family members illness to raise money to fly to another country to confront him about it and then ran to cry about how pathetic he was on the internet after she clearly violated his boundary and he wasn’t happy to see her.

And now the group he blocked is continuing to follow him to conventions to further violate his boundaries and claim they did nothing wrong while attempting to recruit fans to believe their conspiracy theories on some “evil entity” being responsible for this. It’s bonkers.
