Star Dust Crusaders

Stardust Crusaders is the epic that changed the rules of the game. The transition from Hamon to Stands brought limitless creativity to the battles. Jotaro Kujo introduces a new type of hero: the 'tough guy' of few words, but with unshakable loyalty.Even though it's a long season, the 'road trip' format makes us feel like part of the crew. It’s impossible not to get attached to the Crusaders; for me, Polnareff stole the show with his charisma and character growth. The journey to Egypt is full of bizarre dangers, but what truly sticks are the final sacrifices — the battle against Dio is one of the tensest moments in anime history. It might be a marathon for some, but the emotional payoff is massive. An unforgettable journey! 5/5 Joestars stars!

Battle Tendency

If Phantom Blood is a tragedy, Battle Tendency is a wild, high-octane action adventure. Joseph Joestar is the breath of fresh air the series needed: sarcastic, a trickster, and owner of a magnetic charisma. It’s impossible not to laugh at his 'run away to fight another day' tactics or his psychological mind games.The season shines by introducing figures like Caesar Zeppeli — whose rivalry and friendship are the heart of the story — and the iconic Lisa Lisa, who redefines the role of women in the series. Facing the Pillar Men and dealing with unlikely allies (like Stroheim) makes everything so unpredictable. Joseph proves that sometimes, a sharp brain and a dose of audacity are worth much more than the title of a gentleman. Definitely my favorite JoJo so far! 5/5 Joestars stars!

Phantom Blood

Phantom Blood is the necessary prologue. Although Jonathan is the classic 'heart of gold' protagonist — sometimes even to a fault — the real star is the toxic dynamic with Dio Brando. It is a Victorian tragedy about how one man's trauma and ambition (Dio) cursed an entire lineage. It’s not the most creative part in terms of powers (we’re still in the Hamon era), but it establishes the emotional weight for everything that follows. 4/5 Joestars is a very fair rating for such a dramatic beginning!
