Church and roads
So some of the highways in Alaska are built so air planes can land on them. (I don't know if that's a thing every where but it is here) and so once I was in this church during service and I heard this bush plane going really low. Turns out they pilot landed on the road and then pulled into the church parking lot. Also he was a pilot missionary from Russia, and had just flown from Russia to Alaska, and ca,e to the church service. It was pretty cool.
That time on BoB fm.
"Reach out and touch someone, with their permission. Or go to jail. It's your choice"
The funeral homes
There is a funeral home in Alaska, which has a commercial on the radio. Not that surprising, but the funeral home is run by Janson "The Mushing Mortician" who has mushed in the Iditarod a couple times. The funeral home is also advertised as a great place to get married. And the background music for the add is Spirit in the Sky.
Radio
In Alaska there is a radio station called bob fm. They literately play whatever with no requests. In fact what they used to do when someone requested a song, they would play them asking for a song on the radio and then say “what part of no requests did you not understand? Probably the no part right? Bob fm, playing the 80s, 90s, 2000s and whatever.” And then it would go back to playing music. It’s pretty much my favorite radio station.
