Selina was nervous, it didn’t happen all that often but she had been told that today she was going to meet some other fairies. While the news had been exciting now that she was about to meet them, she found her tummy was feeling funny - like a million butterflies decided to play inside of her tummy. She knew it would be okay, her Mommies wouldn’t let her meet someone mean and she had been told the new fairies were friends - friends from back in Pixie Hollow. 

She had heard many, many stories from her Mommies and Tinky, so many fun stories - more of the funner ones were told by Tinky though. But she was still scared - what if they didn’t like her? Her bottom lip trembled slightly before she shook her head, her eyes darting over to where her Mama was waiting for her - she promised to be there just incase. But Selina was going to do her best to be brave - this was a fun day and She was going to meet some new friends!

Peri left the building when she saw them from inside the closed down Any Given Sundae. She was in the middle of renovations though had easily agreed to meet their newest addition, when Fawn had secretly made up an appointment for their first meeting. The winter fairy was excited to meet Selina, since it didn’t happen so often that their kin got new backup. 

Waving at them, Periwinkle walked towards them with a friendly smile. Noticing the slightly confused expression on the girl’s face. “You must be Selina.” She grinned cheekily and knelt down to meet the little blond’s height. “Your mom’s talk about nothing else anymore.” She joked and softly boobed the little one’s nose. “Nice to meet you.”

Hiya Peri! How's my favorite Sister-Fairy doing?

“Fawn?! Hiii, I almost didn’t recognize you.You got… quiet a new hair cut.” Peri grinnedand hugged the fellow fairy. “I’m doing good,given the fact that I’ve spend 28 years in oneplace. Anyways, let’s not talk about this. Howhave you been?”

“Hey Zari, you’re also in for Miner’s Day Prep 2.0? Ro, Tink and me are planing already.”

“We’re celebrating Miner’s Day again?” Zarina asked surprised. “Wasn’t that linked to a tale told in the curse? Shouldn’t we... celebrate our real holidays now? Like... the blue harvest moon?”

“He can be glad we didn’t sue him, since nobody seems to care about the rent anyway.” Iridessa nodded, making a face since she remembered exactly who caused her income to stagger. “Well a few maybe… We could still see who follows them without questioning the destination.”

Rosetta laughed. “Sue? How would we do that the only person around here with that kind of smarts is Gold...or King George and who knows where he disappeared to.” Funny how no one seemed to question that.

She smiled fondly. “The children have always been big supporters of us, can we invite them?”

“Miner’s Day got bad reputation because Mr. Tall Drink of Water got taken in for questioning about his wife’s disappearance, it was a perfect evening until that happened.” Rosetta pouted, the town turn quickly to scandal and their annual holiday had been forgotten.  “So you think we should celebrate it, but not invite the townsfolk? It has its charms.”

“Well of course sugar, now tell me what did you have in mind?”

“I think it was sort of a muted joy.” Muted because Blue had always been a very low key sort of a woman, she didn’t let excitement get the  better of her. “She knows, everyone knows that I harboured a flame for Hook for a  while.” Except for the man in question, obviously, She shook her head. “That is over now and August? We’ll he’s just wonderful.”

“I bet. If we wouldn’t know better one could say she’s related to Milori, as serious as she’s always been.”

Peri snickered and was completely in awe about seeing her sister being so obviously in love. 

“This happy glow suits you, sister. Just as much as he does; it kinda makes sense you two found each other.”

Tink looked at her sister a little surprised. “Periwinkle! Alright I will admit we are fond of each other but is that a bad thing? I know you and some other people prefer him to I don’t know, a certain pirate?”

“Hey, nobody here says it’s a bad thing. A big revelation maybe, but not bad at all Tinkerbell. You know I’m happy if he makes you feel happy.” Peri held her by the shoulders with a soft smile. “How did Blue react to the connection? Now that you’ve basically become family.”

Tink nodded. “I don’t think we need to call the real estate agent or anything, I’m not even sure the town has one.” She smiled when Peri mentioned August. “He would help us for sure, he would probably even offer to taste our creations.”

“I bet he would offer his service to you.” Peri grinned again, when she saw Tink’s smile. “Looks like I hit a nerve there. The two of you have become quiet close since he’s back grown up, haven’t you sister dearest?”

“Well I do like this idea.” And it wouldn’t effect her time at the hospital either so that was a plus. “We’ll need a catchy name though to draw the customers in.” Any Given Sundae was pretty epic sounding for an ice creamery.

“Hmm, that’s true. And some kind of general business plan. Maybe we should meet over at the ice creamery and see what comes to mind. Maybe ask Marco or August too about  how they got started. They should know how it works, now that August is working on the  teenager’s center.”

“Mmm I love ice cream on my pancakes, but is it an idea we can sell to people you think? Mind you, it’s not we need super business skills or anything, I mean the previous owner of Any Given Sundae was a icy loon.” Tinkerbell flinched. “Sorry, I meant no offense. I love my frost talent.”

“It’s okay, it is people like her that give our talent a B a d  T a s t e.” Peri played it down grinning at her sister. “Pancakes with Ice Cream would definitely be something you don’t get over at Granny’s and it would totally stand for the two of us, so yes I do think we could sell it.”

Tinkerbell eyed her sister. “A risky business venture? Sounds intriguing, what did you have in mind?”

“Well... You like to bake, I’d do the ice cream. Those two talents would mix well to add a bit to community service. Don’t you think?”

“Tiiink, what do you think about re-opening the Any Given Sundae? But together and make it a tad more special.”
