The Oldest School On Staten Island Last Saturday, I took a bunch of great folks to Historic Richmond Town on Staten Island for my first NYC Photographers Meetup since I took time off to travel. Although I did take some "normal" pictures which I have yet to work on and will post later, I spent much of the afternoon playing with my camera on a tripod fitted with a pinhole lens. (see the first pic) I took my ISO down to 50 and shot around f8 giving me 6 - 10 second exposures. I refrained from my usual processing including my anal need to straighten everything (I can't stand when buildings, bridges, and things look like they are falling over, it's a one-click fix mostly these days for heaven's sakes) so simply converted the images to monochrome in NIK's Silver Effex, except the last one which I left in color, did straighten and removed a few garbage cans etc. So here's something a little different from me for a change. Don't worry this won't become an obsession and I'll be back to normal very soon! 🙂 #NYC_Photographers #Meetup #HistoricRichmondTown #statenisland — view on Instagram https://ift.tt/gdMv7sN
